WWE 2K24: Patch 1.11 Has Broken The Game! (Full Details & Patch Notes)

A new patch 1.11 update has been released for WWE 2K24 with the intention of addressing problems arising from patch 1.10, however the new patch appears to have made things worse and broken the AI.
The changes made in the patch have caused several problems with the AI that have left tag team matches completley broken, as computer controlled Superstars will attack the wrong opponents and awkwardly come to a stand still in the corner.
Other issues arising from the patch include problems with the AI exiting and re-entering the ring, standing next to the announce table and unable to perform outside dives.
Along with the problems listed above, this video also takes a look at some of the outstanding issues with the game that have yet to be addressed, including the image glitch that loads in the wrong textures to creations, poor lighting in Create an Arena and various connection problems when playing online.

I can't log into MyFaction and the User License Agreement pops up constantly and doesn't allow me to play MyFaction even though I agree to the Terms Agreement. The server keeps kicking me out of MyFaction even though I have internet access. I keep getting an error message which states "You must have an active Internet connection in order to access MyFaction." This is very frustrating and adds on to Patch 1.11 breaking the game for WWE 2k24!

For CAW mode, the tooth removal option reverts to default after you confirm it and some logos I applied onto shades don't show up in entrances or matches, even though they're applied in CAW. I've also encountered some clipping issues with the eyes and mouth where the eyeballs and teeth show through the skin.

Ai won't attack or grapple players on apron now an the a.i now runs towards the rope attempting to dive out but stops then trays over and over but never dives out now. Top rope moves to outside they will just sit up there and not dive anymore.

All I know is that there are always bugs and glitches when video games are being developed. But i agree there is no excuse for the lack of fixes or the insane amount of patches. For DLC just leave it as the characters don't need so many fixes. Thats how you screw up games. Let the past 2K and EA games speak for themselves. Some were great till they messed them up.

Ever since the parch dropped I've been unable to use community creations *at all*, won't load most of the time, and when it does downloads are stuck at one percent for 20 minutes before the game kicks me out of cc and tells me there's a network error. I don’t think this is the case. People need to remember this is not a brand new engine for 2k22. It has been recoded to a degree but it still has DNA that stretches back to Wwe 12. There is no financial benefit for the WWE to have their developer build an entirely new game from the ground up. They would lose too much revenue. The only way I can see this happening is if they hired another dev to create another Wwe game along side 2k. I just don’t see this happening with the way these games are selling. All things aside it’s a small echo chamber on KZbin and forums, and the general consensus is that these games are selling very well and have an overwhelming positive review from more casual and easy to please wrestling game fans.

The apron glitch is also ruining singles matches, since the AI will stand in front of you without doing anything. Also, I had some CM Punk alts downloaded and they all had the tapes on the arms removed. I guess this goes along the missing hair glitch on CC. But hey, we got an artist who has nothing to do with wrestling as a playable character. Thanks 2K!

I’m legitimately sad, 2k24 had the potential to be a top tier wwe game but they have screwed up at every turn, all focus after releasing the game going into what’s basically gambling for kids for content that has no effort, dlc spanned out way to far to “increase its lifespan” an entire dlc pack that contains only 1 person who has wrestled out of the five, and with every patch, this game slowly reaches 2k20 levels of broken, loading times now vs when the game came out is so much longer, scrolling through menus now has lag to it, community creations takes so much longer to get anything from, it all just makes me sad

I saw this myself this morning before I knew about the AI thing. I was doing single player Universe mode and I was in a tag team match with The Dudley Boyz vs. Judgement Day (Priest and Balor with Rhea set as a manager.) For the first few minutes everything seemed fine but then the JD members started doing weird things probably 3 or 4 minutes into the match. Randomly targeting other wrestlers, including their own partners, and seemingly wandering around the ring and ringside area kind of randomly. As the legal man I just stood in the middle of the ring for a good 30 seconds and the computer had completely lost interest in me. I wondered at the time, "Is the AI broken? This doesn't look right." This was definitely patch 1.11.

Gore and Perkins have had a few issues with Royal Rumbles where the Number 30 entrant never comes out, I think that it also happened last year. I think that the entrant hud doesn't trigger on Ramp view so they often get lost on what entrant is coming out.

Remember that Yuke's were the developers of AEW: Fight Forever after being kicked off WWE by 2K, and that the AEW game was/is severely lacking creative suite content compared to what 2K can offer. THQ Nordic is... okay. They're the publisher of Wreckfest, but they've also had not-good games release under their banner as well. 2K (and EA Sports) just need to do the, what I like to call, the "Microsoft Flight Sim method" where they release one game, update that for maybe 4-5 years, then make a new one with engine updates.

Let me explain how gaming works, 2k is already working on 2k25 right now. They have a small team left behind to address any issues with 2k24. This entire game was finished at launch, DLC and all, it’s all like a complete puzzle when 2k removes the pieces they break the game apart and that’s what causes all the glitches, crashes and issues because the engine is not functioning the way it should when all its pieces are there. They instead give them back with every patch and update and charge you DLC as a result. That’s how they make more money for the next game, rinse and repeat. Why else do you think each update fixes some things and breaks others. It’s not till the last DLC/update does the game work as it should because all the pieces are put back as a whole and even then there are some lagging issues behind that they swear they fix for the next game until new ones emerge to become issues again leading into 2k26. Again rinse and repeat, gamers who buy their games are basically testers who pays them to test their games. Crazy as that sounds.

@@BeastiezCyZ when the game is complete meaning with all the DLC included, the game will work as it should before they picked it apart. The game is taken apart at launch and parts of the code is added back as pieces throughout the lifespan of the game. The updates and patches are free, but in order for the game to be working as it should, it requires the DLC also to be added. Because the DLC is part of the games final code. You can play this game in November when it’s games lifespan ends without a single DLC bought and it will function fairly well but will not be to its fullest potential until everything is bought. Meanwhile while those pieces are missing the game will not function because the code has been tampered with. That’s why you see things fixed then broken then fixed, then something else breaks inbetween patches.

I like to add with myfaction in the game now they gotten a taste of the whole pay to win gacha like system so they focus more on their cashgrabbing part rather on the game itself. heck they even said it 2k has their own myfaction team (idk how big it is but they have one). If they removed that and made myfaction its own game, i feel like some of these bigger bugs and glitches would be more focus on but since myfaction gets that extra money outta the ones who throw money at it, i feel like this will be ongoing issue with the wwe2k games now.

The "LOBBY WARNING" bug in the Online matches has yet to be addressed as it's been an ongoing issue since Day 1. People can't even do their wrestling leagues with players because on how bad the servers constantly are, highly frustrating.

I’ve noticed a bit of a lag for Undertakers Tombstone Piledriver as well so when you do the move, it would have this quick animation glitch before the finisher is proceeding. Hopefully 2K could look into this as well plus other issues.

Haven't been able to do anything online based in the game in the last 2 days. Got the EULA/Terms of Service screen maybe a half dozen times yesterday and anything related to online like CC or MyFaction just says there's issues with the servers or I'm offline. I've tried restoring licenses, reinstalling the game, quitting out and going back in. Nothing seems to want to work. And as you pointed out in the video, also got the insanely long load time just to get into the game.

I haven't noticed any bugs and AI issues in one on one matches but in tag matches, the AI either ignores the legal man or goes to the opposite corner and does nothing. First happened in Universe mode when playing as Punk and was teamed with McIntyre. Match was okay until I tagged in McIntyre who was AI. As soon as he was tagged in he just ran to the opposite corner and stood there. Same happened with a few other tag matches I played.

Another problem in online is actually loading into a match, it is very frustrating and barely any matches work, most of the just glitch and say the lobby is not available after selecting characters, this especially happens when using custom characters, although using defaults works most of the time, they need to adress matches barely working with custom characters

IKR that's why everytime a 2k game comes out I invested money in Take Two stock and then pull the money out later when the price has risen from all those sells of the game lol. And People on WWE games reddit want to thumbs me down when I bring this to their attention that they are slowly becoming EA. That's why I'm getting money off them (2k and EA fan boys) since they don't want to listen and accept anything 2k throw at them instead of getting on them about how they're going to lose business with the things they are doing.
