Wowzers this video reached 1000 views today and in only 8 days! That’s amazing as I’m lucky to reach 100 clicks on most of my videos in the first 6 months. Thanks so much! Now onward to 2000 clicks and beyond :)

Thanks lots. Played a stripped down demo at the game while it was installing. Game plays so smooth but with 2k17 being the last one I own and was playing just last week leading up to ‘24s release I have to now unlearn all those button controls lol

@@NateDecaf I get them every time they come out, but yea damn you’re in for a HUGE UPGRADE from the last one you got. 2016 all the way to 2024. I definitely think this one is the best of the last ones to come out since 22. It’s a good thing you never played 20, that one was so god awful it put the franchise on hold.

I’m lucky if I pick up any 2 games a year and the WWE games I felt were getting slow to add any big interesting changes. Second I read up on all the fun things plans for this years I knew it was time to jump back in. :)

I do have a Twitch account through my PS4 and did try it out playing Assassin’s Creed IV and Mortal Kombat X forever back. No one really bothered showing to watch me so I lost interest fairly fast.

It takes time to build - with the F1 games I record my gameplay thru Twitch - download it, edit it and then post snippets. (It is time consuming)m tbh)

I bought this too after a long absense, Svr07 to me was the last great WWE console game, never could get invested in later editions, specially the 2K franchise, but after following their overhauling of the game post 2020, thought it was finally time to give it a try, and i'm glad i did! There are things that need fixing in the short term and things to implement in the future, but as is, it's pretty great. I too am finding learning the controls, even in comparison to a few years ago quite the learning curve, but it's constructed well i think. Are you enjoying the game? What do you think of the modes? I'm primarily a GM Mode guy but i am interested in the new Superstar Mode in Universe and have spent some time on MyFaction, which is quite good for those who like challenges. p.s Happy (belated) Birthday!

I still have a ball playing WWF Royal Rumble on my SNES and once owned all the PS1 WWF games including the SmackDowns till they went Vs Raw. Jumped back in at WWE 12 and still love playing WWE 13. Got 2k15 to see how the games would play on PS4 and 2k17 for the collectors box set. 2k24 plays amazingly and the animations are so smooth. only played some 1 on 1 matches so far. Absolutely adore you can move the camera around during cpu fights. I can watch a barn burner from the noses bleeds to the front row. it’s the best :D

@@NateDecaf That's really cool man, i still have the Smackdown games on the ps1, love firing them up every once in a while for the nostalgia. I took a break after 08 and stepped back in with WWE13, how great that attitude era mode was! then left it until WWE 2K16 - again anything with that era i'm in! Then yeh same as you another break until this latest entry. 2k have really stepped it up with the franchise, i really feel they finally have the core gameplay solved, for the most part, now we just need fine tune improvements going forward, with patches and future titles. Matches just flow so well and feel so realistic now it's great. I too like the added camera options, especially as i usually end up eliminated early in rumbles and gauntlet matches! It now feels like it's back to the stage of being a title i will buy every year because it's not gonna be radically different, it's just gonna be essentially the same game but with some more improvements, rather than needing to overhaul something every year and that getting the main focus. I'm feeling optimistic about it's future, and i been waiting over a decade to say that. Hope you are still enjoying the game too.
