As someone who only really plays Universe and GM mode, the 40 Years of Wrestlemania version works perfectly. Get all the superstars in the game to use day 1 which is great and having the attires to then use as parts for created guys is perfect.

I need a few things from this game: 1. Entrance manual Run-ins and end of match option like WWE2k19 2. Promos 3. The ability to lift opponent on turnbuckle with grapple/ carry or lay opponent on announcer table without the use of super. 4. Weapon submissions and weapon attacks example putting a leg in a chair to stomp If those things are there I’ll buy this game. WwE2k23 was a good game but I need more freedom to disrespect to my opponent.

I hate the price but having the arenas and the superstar attires for the 40 years of mania in the game to be playable is just so nice sounding I definitely want the WrestleMania 40 arena and its great there updating the game and adding it wish they always did that and continue to in future iterations the game has looked like it'll be a banger this year hopefully GM mode is or becomes the SvR 08 GM mode

Deluxe is a sweet spot indeed. I'am sure we will have Macho Man and HHH in some forms anyway, and Mysterio will be in for sure, so Community Creations will do the rest. And i like to play WM showcase and unlock things here myself, it gives me at least some feeling of going through and complete something. While i don't care much for myrise thing and never played one. Now all i want is to see these WM matches list 2K gives us and what about CM Punk?

When the Pre-Order bonus is leagues better than the "Collector's Edition" pack. Something to be said for that. I'm excited for what awaits us this year (after spending the few months swearing I wouldn't buy another one of these unless they did something truly mind-blowing LOL). That being said, once again, the "Collector's Edition" pack is totally not worth the extra money (outside of the Accelerator for Showcase Mode - at last, 2K!). Also can't help but noticing they're still trying to 'make "fetch!" happen' with My Faction Mode, but it's whatever. My biggest thrill in this batch of info is the first-ever licensed appearance of "Superstar" Billy Graham and the fact that we're finally getting an all-new Dusty (Dusty Rhodes '76). If it's '76, that means both the Superstar and the Dusty will be designed after their appearances in their legendary 3 Madison Square Garden matches. You can definitely tell Cody was very influential in the development of this game. It just sucks that for the second time, we're getting this game/Showcase based on greatest Mania moments...and there won't be a Goldust.

WWE 2k24 is going to be awesome. I'm hoping that they add new Tag Team moves like Cody-1D, Helluva Kick +Stunner and Spear+Spike combo. I'm hoping for some new Avalanche moves also Big Ending, Manhandle Slam,Skull Crushing Finale,F-5,World Strongest Slam and more. I also have a request for some catching Finishers like Claymore, Trouble in Paradise, Catching yes Kicks,Skull Crushing Finale, Styles Clash,Hurt Lock,K.O.D,ATL Down,Kimura Lock, Running Powwrslam and more. I would also love to see some new Comebacks in WWE 2k24 like Drew McIntyre,Bianca Belair,Cody Rhodes just to name a few. Jey uso, Jimmy Uso and Trick Williams current entrances in WWE 2k24 would be great too.

Honestly as much as I’d love to grab the Forty Years of Wrestlemania version; but due to it being digital only…I’ll be sticking with the Deluxe edition. I mainly play MyGM & MyFaction modes so I don’t want to pay that much of a difference for gold (prob evo) cards when it comes out in the summer. Also like mentioned in the video, they’ll 100% eventually make the extra DLC given with the 40 years version available for purchase for those who purchased lesser tier versions of the game. They always do. You may end up paying 5-10$ more but it’s 4 months later or longer depending on the launch date of it. Plus I’ll be enjoying the matches in the road to wrestlemania so it works out. He makes a fantastic point in how he’ll be buying the most expensive version as he is a content creator for the game and it’ll be good for him to have everything unlockable from the start and when the extra content does come out. IMO, deluxe is the way to go. Plus you get that sweet sweet double cover with Rhea on it…giggity.

I really hope that the showcase is much more fun this time around and there won't be those stupid assignments. I don't need to have cutscenes in between which is why they had to add the assignments. Just give me the matches with proper atmosphere and commentary. I want to play it freely. That will be a lot more fun than completing assignments which feels more like homework than game. Pretty sure people will come back to play this mode again, if they love the freedom and the atmosphere of the matches. I too had thought about replaying the showcase matches but when I get reminded of those assignments, it turns me away.
