Here's some of what the crowd was chanting: After almost EVERY nearfall: "Un, deux... Simplement deux! Sim-ple-ment deux, simplement deux..." (One, deux... Only two!) (It's actually a thing from one of the French commentators). "C'est pas gentil!" (I"t's not Nice!"). And the song for AJ Styles goes like this: "Il est vraiment, il est vraiment, il est vraiment phénomenal" ("He is really phenomenal!"). Lyon is a huge soccer city which explains this crazy atmosphere I think. But there were certainly a lot of fans from everywhere in France.

Dude, thank you for calling out the "all-time gate record" nonsense. I was rolling my eyes when the fans cheered as WWE basically just rubbed it in their faces that they paid a historically high amount of money for their tickets.

This is the first time I re-watched a show just because of the crowd. Absolutely amazing. I've been going to and watching wrestling shows since the early 80's, and I've never seen anything like this.
