My Predictions..... AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens US Championship -In another shocker Owens winds but by DQ when, after a hellascious match the colons rush ringside. They enter the ring, at which point Owens smiles and yells "get him" when the Colons go to attack styles he moves out of the way and one of the Colons (let's say Epico just to be precise) hits Owens by mistake giving him the win but not the belt. Fatal 5 way elimination match for #1 Contender for the Smakcdown Women's championship - a LOT of moving parts here. So I won't go over it all but order of elimination will be Charlotte, Nattie, Becky, Tamina. (Tamina will eliminate herself, baffling EVERYONE.) Leaving Lana as the number 1 contender. This will lead into weeks of Tamina "training" Lana to face Naomi at Battleground. Tamina will also take on the role of Lana's bodyguard and the story will unfold that Tamina fell in love with Lana when she came back and has been looking for a way to win her affections ever since. Tag Team Championship match New Day vs Usos - The Usos win this match via less than honest means. By that I mean some real old school heal shenanigans. New day will be doing well at first then there will be a momentum change in The Usos favour. During this whichever of the 3 New Day members is NOT in the match will be caught about to interfere and the ref will throw him out of the match. While everyone is watching this New Day member walk up the ramp, theUsos will take advantage, perhaps using a foreign object to secure the pinfall. This will lead to a blow off match at SummerSlam. Sami Zayn vs Mike Kanelis - Mike Kanelis will win this one through the "Maryse-esque" shenanigans of Maria Kanelis. John Cena vs Rusev Flag Match - John Cena for SOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo many reasons. Big match john, first PPV match after being away, The inevitable Cena winning the US title at SummerSlam, Rusev was strong on the last 2 Smackdowns, etc etc etc. Who's been tormenting Breezango and Why? Rowan and Harper. They have been pretty much ghosts for the last few months since the superstar shake up. They are big they work well together and they are a fitting obstacle for Brezzango to overcome before the go after the Usos and the titles again, at Wrestlemania. Shisuke Nakamura vs Baron Corbin - Corbin wins a hard fought match because as Mr. Money in the bank they can't really have him losing to a mid carder if they intend to have him seen as a legitamite threat to the WWE championship. Moreover after the match Corbin will not stop and will use the briefcase to (kayfabe) take Shisuke out for several weeks putting his Summerslam "at risk". At Summerslam Shinsuke will come out of the crowd and prevent Baron from cashing in, thus extending the fued between the two and prolonging the MiTB tension. Punjabi Prison Match for the WWE Championship Mahal vs Orton - Orton wins because WWE recognizes that the Jinder experiment has failed, miserably. Orton will win the title, Mahal will have his rematch at Summerslam which (as Jinder named the stipulaion last time) Orton will demand be held in Hell in a Cell, at which point he will destroy Jinder in a squash, and send the Singh brothers running to 205 Live. Now let's remember folks, these are just my predictions, and opinions on what should and / or will happen at Battleground. Also remember opinions are like assholes, everyone not only has one but is entitled to one. If you have a differing one, please post your predictions, and if you feel the need to flame me for mine go ahead. But let's just remember it's only wrestling folks.

As I say at the end of my rather rambling post, it IS only pro wrestling after all, and not without reason it's dubbed "sports entertainment". This was unbearable. Anyone else notice that WC Wrestling is jumping the shark with this horrible "Story line" with Jack, Blampied is still Plumpie and the Top ten's aren't as engaging or correct (That wasn't Starship Pain in the last Top 10) as they used to be. I love WC, but I think I might stick to just watching King Ross for now. At least he listens when his fans get fed up with his catchphrases and gimmicks.
