You see, one of my biggest issues is that, the title didn't need to change hands. Jericho could have interfered and attacked Owens during the match causing a DQ, or on the flipside, Lesnar could have run in and F5'ed Goldberg while the referee was down or some bullshit, giving Owens the win without making Goldberg look weak. People are gonna wanna watch Lesnar V. Goldberg REGARDLESS of the championship (because at this point, who gives a shit about the title. A match between fucking Finn Balor and Seth Rollins couldn't get it over). Moreso, Kevin Owens V. Chris Jericho for the Universal title should have been the Main Event of Wrestlemania. They've been building their friendship and eventual rivalry storyline for months, and Chris (even if he loses most of the time nowadays) is still one of the most over faces in the wwe. IMO, he deserves one last good title run before he eventually retires. We are more invested in their storyline than anything Lesnar and Goldberg have been doing. This match made both Owens and Goldberg look weak, and Goldberg will be nothing more than a transitional champion who will have held the belt once just to lose it the following ppv because he is even more of a part-timer than Lesnar. I feel for them both. Think I'm wrong? I'll admit it if the Lesnar V. Goldberg match lasts more than 5 minutes and involves more than a dozen moves. I loved Goldberg in his early days, but who in their right mind thinks he and Lesnar need to be put over at the loss of younger, newer talent? Because they're big, bulky, sweaty men past their prime with already-established fanbases and very little long-term longevity in the company? Who knows. I'm just a stupid smark whose opinion doesn't matter.

Razzrazz90 Only issue is that WWE knows Goldberg vs Lesnar for a title will sell tickets more than Jericho vs Owens, cause of the casual fans. As for Owens and Jericho.. Owens is winning the U.S title at Mania because Jericho has a tour with his band Fozzy coming up.
