No should just stick to Wrestlemania and Summerslam. 2 biggest events. Royal rumble works with having it as one night same with survivor series. The smaller PLEs would be weird as 2 night events

To my knowledge it’s only been WM as a 2 night PLE. I’m 100% fine with this being permanent going forward, it feels right for SummerSlam

just found out the Peacock deal in the US ends in jan 2026 This could be a play for Netflix to get that deal for the US it would be already on Netflix outside the us If that does happen, I could see Netflix pushing the WWE to make the big 4/5 2 night events as they can market it as major PLEs Every three months or so I think Netflix would also be smart if they end up going for the PLEs To make a WWE playlist style Road to major PLE special like a 1 hour recap of the storylines for the people that want to come back when there’s something big on I have a few friends that I want to get into wwe and rather than having to explain to them everything that’s going on

I went to US bank stadium for a concert a year or so ago and it is probably one of the nicest stadiums in the US IMO. I'm hoping I can make it to that SummerSlam. Will probably need to use some time off work tho to drive back!

i saw this a few hours ago and instantly thought oh is smackdown then summerslam in the same place like a lot of PLEs and only after watching this i realised its 2 nights. here is my theory this is a one off why because westlemaina 42 is one night only in europe in the uk or france theory 2 what if this is the start of international westlemains and summer slam becomes US wretlemaina in the summer both 2 nights with a big build with king and queen of the ring becomeing a rumble like event as the king and queen get a granted world tile match at summerslam and a raw and smackdown ether side

I know you're a new fan. I just wanted to comment that Minnesota has a very rich history in professional wrestling, way back when it was popularized and huge in the 80's. I feel that Minnesota definitely deserves this great news for a two night event summerslam. I highly recommend looking up matches with the von Eric family, and Ric flair from this time period. Kerry von Erich vs flair was an iconic. Minnesota masterpiece. Minnesota had some of the very best in professional wrestling as well as Tennessee, in my opinion.

Love that you’re a new fan! Love hearing people getting into wrestling that weren’t fans before! Only criticism I have is I think broadening your horizons and understanding of the independents will do wonders! The Indy’s, while they are essentially the minor leagues, are such an important part of wrestling as a whole! Especially some old stuff! My dad wrestled in wwf in the 90s as enhancement! I would guess this is to test the response to more 2-day PPVs. I don't think we'll get 12 a year, but I think the big 4 will all go 2 nights eventually.

I think this is compensation for losing wrestlemania. I bet they originally had WM 41 but then night 1 of WM 40 happened and the WWE started looking for a venue in a warmer location. I personally think that it will be just SummerSlam that moves to 2 nights.
