Glad to have retros back. 100% agree with everything you said about Hulk. To me Mean Gene is the star of the set. He is a bit big but as you mentioned, scale was never perfect for this line so it doesn’t bother me. Can’t wait for series 2!

The molded on hats, shirts, or kilts never bothered me on the Hasbro. Only thing that did was the LOD pads. Those should've been 100% removable.

Just ordered this set off Amazon, late Christmas present to myself (arrives like January 6th.) I never had any of the old Hasbro sets when I was young, so i got excited when i seen these

So happy to have these. I got two as well. Kinda pissed tho that they are up for pre order on other site. I wish they did not allow more of that. If you missed out then o well. I want them to be more rare is all. I am happy people that want them can get them with out a giant mark up though.

I'm still waiting for mine. Only got one set and I plan on keeping them MOC so I hope they're alright. I actually would have preferred Piper with the t-shirt. Looks funny MOC with the kilt on and no shirt. But Mr. T and Mean Gene are the figures I'm most excited about and they look great.

I agree with you 100% that kind of stuff like with the Piper hasbro never bother me. I had enough of an imagination to see Piper wrestling in his trunks and Legion of Doom not wearing their shoulder pads when wrestling. You said it perfectly at the time that's all we knew.

I'm still waiting for my retro set to ship 🙁. I'm glad for Retros to return but would of liked a better lineup. I really hope they don't redo figs we already got from Hasbro. For example Piper wasn't needed & Hasbro with shirt was better. I would of gotten another direction like unreleased Hasbros (S12, Valentine R&B, Anvil HF, Tugboat, etc) or post (NWO, DX, WCW top guys)

This isnt for me per se, but I still think it's cool. I had a few of the Hasbros way back when I was a kid. I had Hulk Hogan, the Big Boss man, and Demolition Smash (who I survived to this day and I still have). At first I didnt they had joints in their arms that bent, but I remembered the Boss man that I had did. So cool, just not for me.

I'm confused with these hasbro style figures why they don't make women wrestlers. I get back in the day growing up with them there wasn't many female wrestlers. I thought it was a foregone conclusion that women would be made since the women's division was more stacked then ever before. For some reason they refuse to make women wrestlers in the hasbro/retro toy line? They make women wrestlers in other action figure toy lines. From basics-elites and in mash-ups such as WWE MOTU. Before hasbros were brought back i had hoped they'd make current year women with women wrestlers of the past.
