Conspiracy theory: HBK is purposefully sandbagging the Men's division while still creating stars in Je'von, Oba, and Trick so that he can give a big shine to the Tag and Women's division which are clearly lacking on the main roster.

That'd be dumb as hell, if the men's division was better more people would watch which would benefit the women's division (and WWE as a whole).

I'm wondering how many people actually watch the NXT PPVs on peacock. Maybe WWE has the data that more people watch the weekly TV so they save the better stuff for that.

I definitely think that WWE put NXT in the hole with this episode. The shot with the two women teams was great but NxT doesn't do War Games anymore. That said, WWE proper doesn't have a great women's storyline to make a war games so it would be cool if instead they highlighted NxT on a main roster PPV giving them the war games match. They are pushing the ECW aspect of the upcoming show, and they have bubba and RvD but when the owner of ECW works for you, one would expect him to show, but Paul can't because he hasn't returned for the blood line and unless he does this weekend, they really shouldn't' add him to the NxT show.
