Roman Reigns is better than John Cena. He is not sloppy in the ring and he doesn't have to rely on guys like Bryan, CM Punk or Styles to carry his matches. Most importantly, Roman Reigns has never buried a single dude. That's a win to me.

It's impossible for a match at the highest standard to be "carried." Roman has never done a high calibre match his entire singles run.

Cena has had some of the most memorable big time matches on a consistent basis for years involving guys like Batista, Edge, HBK, even midcarders like Umaga, involved in some of the better feuds for years, and actually has an aura that when he shows up has a actual star presence and manages to not screw it up and yet your logic as to why Roman is better is "well gee umm, Roman has buried (in 2017 people think even winning ONE match is a burial) anyone yet"......it's 2017 and the Cena boo birds still sound stupid as hell

Cena buried Reigns on the mic. Great! What good does that do for this new generation of wrestlers? Makes Cena look like a million bucks, yes, but how is this helping WWEs next top guy? When Cena finally leaves, the WWE is going to feel like a wasteland because everyone at one point would've had to bow down to hustle, loyalty, and respect. And this isn't just a Cena-hate thing. It's pretty much the ending of Wrestlemania 9 on repeat. If any top guy came in and ran through all the young up and comers, it would be just as crappy!!

Just watched it, and have to say you can see Cena was determined to mug him off knowing he's better on the mic. Talking over Roman with little jabs/throwing him off, setting Roman up to talk only once he was ready to listen. It wasn't the content of what he said but the intervals between, he controlled the entire thing and purposefully tried to make Roman look inferior. I dunno if he was told to do that, Vince's idea of trail by fire, but it distinctly looked like Cena took it upon himself to pick on one of the few guys he can actually destroy with the stick - after years of using similar tactics on Punk, Rock, Heyman among others and getting easily outflanked. Chump move, whether it was Cena or Vince.

Here is my thoughts on the Cena and Reigns promo. I didn't watch but I have the one narrative that I think the WWE is going As far as the segment goes it was your typical let's give the opposing guy the same ol shit to say with a twist depending on the character. In addition to Cena doing the repetitive of I'm better than you and devalue his opponents career bullshit. But as I heard in detail how the whole segment went the gears started to turn and I said oh that's what they are doing.What they are going with is the really basic reverse psychology into getting the fans that detract from Reigns to cheer him. The WWE is using the fact that Cena buries guys and are going to do it to reigns. So that way once Reigns is squashed, in comes the sympathy factor of the complaints of why we hate Cena. In which it can turn, might make Reigns to finally the babyface that the wwe wanted. Which I'm not going to fall for it and definitely will not watch the build or the actual match. I hate both of these guys and my time will not be wasted.

Roman couldn't deliver a good promo if they handed it to him. He always sounds like he is being dubbed over in some cheap foreign movie because his voice is always out of sync with his facial expressions He is a good powerhouse guy but he either needs some good mic skills(or a Heyman/Heanan talk for him) or a bigger moveset to be taken seriously as a top guy Without something to make him standout he just gets lost among guys who play the big guy powerhouse character better like Strowman or Lesnar(when they let him use more than just the suplex)
