The worst thing about this show is the removal of “Cocky” by Kid Rock cuz we don’t get Stone Cold Steve Austin saying “What!?” in time with the song during the video package
@ryankeefe21029 ай бұрын
That video package is up there with My Way
@Surv1vor19939 ай бұрын
@@ryankeefe2102 I wouldn’t go that far but it is a very good video package. The only packages I can think of that come close to, or surpass My Way are the Daniel Bryan “Monster” video package, and the Shawn Michaels VS Undertaker “Running Up That Hill” video package

As a huge FFX fan myself, referring to weapons in wrestling as forbidden machina is awesome 😂👌🏻

Thanks a lot BZ. Im going to have nightnares from the repressed memories of that damned chocobo race for weeks.

Proud to say I was there! Couple of side notes, when Taker popped Mavin with that chair it literally echoed throughout the arena. And also when Flair made his entrance,a whole bunch of fans were giving the 4 horsemen salute! This is my all time favorite Rumble and not just because I was there! Edit: I still love FFX to this day! Auron was the man!!

Well done with ffx integration. One of my favorites. The amount of hours I spent playing blitzball is wild. Great review as well. This was still part of the era that was in my youth wheelhouse.

I love how undertaker slowly turns around to look at maven after being eliminated just stunned and shocked.

The "WHAT" chant was kind of my breaking point with wrestling as I was growing up. It was at that moment that I realized it just wasn't for me to the degree it used to be.

This rumble was really special for me. After only being able to sometimes catch segments of WWF and WCW in the 90s due to my parents not approving of wrestling, I finally was able to consistently watch starting oddly enough right before the Invasion PPV (I know, I became a hardcore fan during the Invasion somehow). My parents started to soften up to it and then my dad suddenly tells me he has a friend with a box at Phillips and said we could go to this show. This Rumble was my first ever wrestling show I attended live and it will always hold that special place in my heart for it.
