This was a fun one! I remember Benoit being #1 in 2004 and the whole storyline of Paul Heyman (then the Smackdown GM) screwing him by putting him on that slot. The visual of him standing alone in the ring looking into the crowd to start the match is still etched in my memory to this day. A damn shame his actions have completely blacklisted him from the history books.

I think Rhea might pull double duty tonight, I could see being in at least the final 4 of both rumbles. They've been allowing her to get physical with the guys & if she wins the Women's one then makes the final 4 of the mens she looks like a mega star before beating Flair at Mania to reverse the 2020 match where she lost to Flair

I think it’d be fun to see her in the men’s, but I get the feeling that we might be out of the era of that crossover entry. Nia’s entry in 2019 was because the men were main eventing and it let them say someone entered the men’s and women’s match on the same night. If they want to get the accolade off of her, Rhea would be the one to do it.

Assuming they still want to build to father vs son at WM she can also be there to be Dom's muscle, give Rey a good kicking & let Dom pick up the bones for the elimination. Plus WWE (cough vince) has a thing about getting records off people who don't work for him anymore so having Rhea out do Nia also wouldn't be a surprise

Trivia : the very first Royal Rumble was in my hometown - Hamilton, Ontario Canada and it was not aired on PPV at the time, it was on closed curcuit tv. Another great quic guys!

No, it aired on basic TV on USA Network. If you want to be real technical, the first Royal Rumble was at a house show in St. Louis in October 1987 (to test it out) and was won by One Man Gang

Pat Patterson was the first person to pitch the idea for the Royal Rumble interesting fact Vince McMahon at the time thought it was the dumbest idea he's ever heard and didn't pursue the Royal Rumble for if I'm correct two years. In 1987 the first unofficial Royal Rumble which was won by one man gang had such a positive reaction from the crowd that they decided to host the very first Royal Rumble in 1988 which was won by Hacksaw Jim Duggan

That was such an insane finish to the quiz. I’m glad both the quiz and even WWE, with their By The Numbers, didn’t mention the awful Greatest Royal Rumble this year. It’s weird to scrap D-Bry’s hour 15 minute but scrapping Braun’s win is the correct choice. Though if I’m not mistaken I thought Flair won the Rumble twice (91 and 92) which would’ve made the the Evolution question true unless they counted Mark Jindrake.
