i’ve seen it brought up that they’re likely signing so many women to “nostalgia” contracts rn because they don’t want them to be able to testify against vince in the upcoming trial which is sad but makes sense. it’s supposedly why they changed the name of the contracts, too, so they can reach out to more former employees without having the internet question why someone maybe not of “legend” status (not talking about those named in the video obviously) would get a contract like that. i was happy when i initially read about victoria and jackie but once that was pointed out to me, it makes it hard to read the news without getting a sour taste in my mouth. i’m happy for victoria, tho, cos i know she’s wanted something like this for a long time.

I think the 2-hour runtime for RAW will be permanent. If you watch an episode of RAW on Hulu (ad free) the episode is actually one hour and 30 minutes. If RAW on Netflix is similar to RAW on Hulu. RAW will actually end up being 30 minutes longer than it is as a 3-hour program on USA Network.

I was fully under the impression that Gisele was gonna eventually take the knockouts title off Jordan. So, the WWE/TNA partnership is very beneficial to both companies short term, but as DS & Paloma pointed out, WWE will sign up their stars when their contracts expire and those wrestlers will likely take the deal for more money & "Oppertoonity" . But longterm: WWE is essentially now turning TNA into their unofficial developmental. The performance center will be for building up new talent that come from outside of indy wrestling (the Tiffany Strattons and Sol Rucas of the world) while TNA will provide indy stars with some hype and notoriety built in for those debuts. With the partnership they get casual fans that don't follow wrestling outside of WWE familiar with them early on, so when they are signed and are on main roster they make more of an impact (seriously, no pun intended).

TNA Needs to retire the KO Tag Titles. They do NOT have enough women to populate a healthy Tag AND World Championship division. They've built up Jordynne so well that WHOEVER beats her for the KO Title is going to be an immediate star, but that Champ is going to struggle to have any real division left after Jordynne goes to WWE.
