That’s actually an analogy I’ve not heard yet but Get at the same time it’s 1000% spot on perfect when you really think about it! at least at this forbidden door they did do a title change though for the new Japan title (that I would argue ZERO mainstream wrestling fan gives a flying F about).

Shane is not going to AEW but this is where the dirt sheets and internet wrestling news hurts wrestling. Sure it probably would not help in the long run but in the short term hear me out. If no one knew any better (no wrestling news), Shane shows up and to an extent recreates the WWF buying WCW. He says I have been put out to pasture by my sister and brother in law, the McMahon name has been dragged through the mud. Things are down in AEW so I have struck a deal to be 50/50 partners with Tony (since he won't sell) and show that a TRUE McMahon can still run a wrestling company. Gets eyes on the product. Also, yes I know Tony Khan is a mark and want to book. I can't blame him as a fan I just did, but as a business man, if he wanted to succeed why not try to hire Kevin Nash as your booker? Nash loves money and per the who killed WCW he was the guy Bischoff put in charge. Maybe he has a legends deal or doesn't want to compete with his boy trips but come on. Tony Khan is backing up the Brinks truck for everyone else.

Yeah, but when in wrestling history, have you ever seen somebody get heat because they actually wanted to do a job for somebody? Him thinking he should lose to big Bill is in amazing and Ricky that he’s a team player and not a selfish SOB. I’ll tell you from my own experience. The only person I saw that acted like that back when I was wrestling was Kurt angle. he did everything in his power right in front of me, bitching to Vince Russo and Dixie Carter about our finish at bound for glory. That entire calendar year they had me go through every member the main event mafia one on one leading up to him at bound for glory where I beat everyone of them except staying, so it made sense for me to be bound for glory. It would’ve hurt his character when iota, and he was confident in himself to understand that! I appreciate for understanding that about himself in regards to putting BIG bill over. I don’t understand how he should have heat on him for that, That’s ridiculous.
