Alex's reactions to learning about wrestling names and backstories is what I needed today. Thank you. Also, the Gangrel/Edge/Christian trio was called The Brood and their entrance had them come up through the ramp via a ring of fire. It's still one of the best entrances ever.

So yeah: Gangrel was literally Vampire the Masquerade (Or at the very least, he was an actual White Wolf character). It's why every game that featured him had the White Wolf trademark in the credits. I forget exactly what the deal was - whether he wanted to license that usage, or if White Wolf just wanted a wrestler for some reason.

Actually Blackman I believe is a bounty hunter now in Pennsylvania. Think he had his own TV show at one point too. I think he's pretty much been retired from wrestling since 2002 aside from a one-off appearance in 2007.
