Man, back in the day when it first came out, for me it felt like a huge step from smackdown know your role, the graphic, the entrance, etc. It looked so jaw-dropping at the time I thought "this look so real" . Can't believe how realistic the game has become right now.

This game was the 1st smackdown game for the ps2 and it was ok but already out of date when it came out, it was during the time of the Invasion angle, but the game that came after this was fucking great and had a huge roster with everyone from Hogan,Flair,and N.W.O to Brock Lesnar and RVD

This game isn't an Attitude Era game. It was released and developed after the Invasion storyline. It's not the last WWF game either - WrestleMania X8 on the Gamecube was, that came out just before the switch.

Actually yes. WWF Warzone came out in 1998 on the N64/PS1 and had MUCH better commentary. The commentary in this game is hilarious, though, but I do remember when this game first came out people and reviewers criticized it a lot.

Entrances were 60 FPS [Interlaced but whatever] and looked smoother than stuttery cutscenes of current games. If only 2k added 60 FPS entrances, atleast on PC.
