Normally permanent magnets have lifetime of around 20 years. Thus, after this time magnets will need to be replaces which is costly.

Bldc - brushless direct current motors , well bldc might be a transformation but bldc fans are a disadvantage over an advantage , all bldc fans are built with a circuit board unlike ac motors that run on alternate current, there cannot be any best bldc fan , why? bldc fans usually are a headache after warranty , circuit board faults, remote control issues, starts up slowly, high voltage issues of circuit board burnout, in the present scenario bldc is not a very successful product most manufacturers usually have only 1 or 2 models some manufacturers are using bldc technology as a cash cow by showing power saving advantages the fact here is that bldc fans save power but at a negligible rate which is not appealing enough, brands like havells, crompton, orient and many others usually don't see the technology as a permanent solution to the power saving world. So they decided to introduce 40w to 50w ac fans which last longer and are highly durable compared to bldc fans Eg of models havells es 40w, Orient energy star 48w, Crompton high-speed 50w

You can search on amazon.com. Need not worry to buy automberg. You can search as BLDC fan. BLDC means Brushless Direct Current. It must be 32 to 35 watt. If above that, it is not BLDC fan.

Actually it saves significant amount of energy and hence electricity bills. I myself am using 2 fans for last 1 year, and it has already reduced my electric bill by 3500 rupees. So, cost of one fan is already recovered. They provide 3 years warranty. So, even if the fan goes bad after 3 years. I will have recovered full cost plus some extra(if I would have used normal fans). So, your logic doesn't really apply.

Looks like you stopped using your air conditioner haha you saved 3500 on bill of 2 fans of the r maybe your electrical meter was faulty for 5 years and got rectified now.
