My fav has to be the water heater (@10:15). It's basically a bomb since it's an electrolysis machine and the H2+O2 has nowhere to vent. One unlucky spark after the water boils off and boom (about the strength of a tiny firecracker)..

17:43 Black ABS pipe works even better and it doesn’t require 20 people to build. Or if you can get a bunch of black half inch or three-quarter inch flexible drip system pipe that works too. I just recommend putting a filter on the very end of it to keep whatever debris might build-up in the system out of your pipes and faucets etc. I built a really nice one for my house, it makes hot water in the winter time if the temperature doesn’t drop below 45° outside. They also work really good for an outdoor shower or to heat your pool when the water is cool.

I built a barrel rain collection system like you show at 17:00. Worked pretty good but had a problem with algae growing inside as it was in the sun. Used similar drip irrigation from it in my adjacent garden.

Alot of the so-called magic treatments for that issue do seem to be nothing more than altering that top layer of decomposed plastic. 10:52 - that looks like an accident waiting to happen - an unintended spark or flame near that bottle is an instant explosion.

I have used this trick more than once, and with bigger batteries than drill packs. This DOES NOT short the battery, it simply takes the voltage from the drill pack and puts it through the terminals so the vehicle has current to be started. What do you think is happening when you jump start a car with jumper cables? The same thing that you see in this video 🤔 ... one battery standing in for another. A battery "short" is when the terminals are connected or touched together creating a path of very little resistance between them, which is not what's happening here. This is momentarily adding a secondary battery. Most drill packs are 18v and 20v these days so while this may work to start the car, this should not be attempted with a pack over 20v, as the higher voltage could damage the electrical circuits in the car if they are not fused or if the fuse doesn't break. Also discharging the pack too low can damage the cells in the drill pack, and on a really bad day discharging them too fast could end up worse than just killing them, they could potentially puff up and rupture which could lead to a volatile fire that is very difficult to extinguish. So in an emergency situation, would I use this method? Yes, absolutely. Should people be leaving comments about things they don't understand, or haven't done the research on? No, absolutely not. It just confuses others here that may need this trick someday, and this is one of the biggest reasons why it stink's that anyone can have the spotlight to leave comments on platforms like this, giving bad info, without being screened out.

My main concern isn't the car's battery. It is all of the car's electronics. Those were all designed around 14V, not 20-24V. You could fry many of the electronic modules and effectively total the vehicle.

Using a self tapping screw on a PCB is brave! Multi-layer PCBs sometimes have power and ground planes very close together. Ordinary bolts bridging these together have caused fires, so the cutting edges of a self tapping screw are even more likely to bridge them together. This is not a handy tip, this is a recipe for burning down your house!

A mix of useful tips and "hasn't killed me yet!" bad ideas. Use common sense, wear appropriate PPE and try not to trash your tools. Ask "what could happen if this goes wrong?" Maybe a catch can in line for the 1:30 or so vacuum cleaning glue trick. 1:45 nice trick, but that's protective spiral wrap, not insulation. 3:15 maybe. Good chance of breaking the drain. 6:06 maybe. What if you reverse the polarity and destroy your tool battery, which costs HOW much? What voltage is the tool? Will you fry the contacts, or spread them so they make poor high-resistance connections to your tool, then complain about the POS tool because the battery contacts fried? 6:57 when you atomize some of whatever you are pumping with the compressed air, are you going to regret breathing that? 10:18 appears to be electrolyzing water into an oxygen and hydrogen mix. Which is explosively flammable. One spark, perhaps as it boils dry, and it will explode.
