Hannah proved the foil in moving people around just to accommodate some new couple whose not even guaranteed to be together once the charter ends. Is Malia and that guy still together? I read that they weren’t. It’s obvious that Sandy is showing favoritism towards Malia. As a manager, or a supervisor, that is the worst thing you can do when you’re in charge.

I remember Captain Lee mentioning there was a similar incident with him and a crew member( I think Kate) who had undisclosed medication on board and he spoke with the crew member and that was that. No firing. Of course Captain Transparent/ Sandy and Sneaky/Malia didn't like Hannah and saw it as an opportunity to use to get rid of her. Below Med is sooo boring now without Hannah. Just because Malia went to captain doesn’t mean she’s wrong. If you’re going to put the blame on someone it should be captain. Malia wasn’t wrong going to captain because she was unaware of both items were in file for sandy. Sandy is the one who made the decision ultimately I just don’t remember if it was said it was in file or not. So technically the blame should just go to Sandy. Anyways the story you’re taking about was with chief stew Adrienne and kat, Kat drank during chart and was wasted and used her medication as a way out to. Captain Lee. Adrienne went to captain because she thought she was drunk (which turned out to be true ) kat also has the medication as far as we are assuming in file and approved. Also some medication may be banned in certain countries so that’s why you have to have in file and approved

Just watched the first part of this reunion and it's disgusting to see Captain Sandy being dishonest and trying to save her face by insulting both Kiko and Hannah. Sandy needs to reevaluate her behaviour and total lack of professionalism. Is this really what she wants? Sandy always says "you suck, but it's nothing personal". Well Sandy, on behalf of ALL viewers of the show: "You - Sandy Yawn - suck, and it's 100% both personal and professional". That's why I refuse to call her a captain. To me, she's just Sandy. Her behaviour, lack of professionalism, negativity and micromanaging ways don't match with the role of a captain. It must be a nightmare being a guest of her yacht. I wouldn't wish this on my enemies. I'm so glad this season is over. Can't wait to see Captain Lee. He is a real captain.

Ok seriously? Like MOST prescriptions, Hannah's valium had ALL of the legal requirements on ONE side of the box. Sandy COULD have let her report it then. My other BIG BS moment was when Sandy said that she "Didn't trust Hannah to work on the boat and be ok if an emergency happened" like if a fire broke out and she had to rescue guests - but the crew can drink like CRAZY, be falling over drunk in between charters, sleep ON the boat that drunk and she's FINE with it? I guess the crew is only required to rescue ANYONE who is a guest! Because a boat can STILL catch fire, or sink, while at dock. It's like Sandy really took a liking to Malia. And she never truly admired Hannah's work ethic. Hannah doesn't go beyond and above in Captain Sandy's opinion. That's why the entire reunion Captain Sandy is putting the yachting and boating regulations, laws and rules first before answering these questions with her opinions. Meaning she's not answering these questions with her opinion or emotions, she's answering by deflecting with the "I'm the Captain of this vessel and it's my duty" instead of being honest that she never truly liked Hannah if that's true. Because it seems that way. Instead of trying to hit people with facts to provide back up evidence to avoid being honest isn't going to cut it. Like be honest. You were over Hannah at that point, and wanted to undermine her over the radio infront of the entire crew. That was tacky and sad to watch. Bugsy and Hannah didn't feel comfortable sharing a cabin. I understand the job comes first. But they had time to work that out and Malia shouldn't of got what she wanted again. It was bias and picking sides. Seeing Malia has been getting her way since before and after Tom joined. And karma fired the first shot. I doubted that it was just a coincidence that things went down hill since Kiko and Hannah were fired. Like that's karma at her best. I believe they could of sucked it up and shared a cabin. At the same time just because Malia's boyfriend was doing the boat a favor, to kick everyone out of their comfort zone to please a couple Is insulting. He didn't join her as a couple when the charter began, so that was BS. Captain Sandy and Malia need to stop dancing around it and be honest. It was not undermine Hannah and belittle her position in away. But it all worked out for her. She's living in Australia, has a man and ba baby and a different peaceful career. So life is good for her.

It came to the bridge because Malia kept bringing issues to Sandy instead of dealing with them herself or when she couldn't get her way (child). The Chief Stew has always assigned cabins on any season of Below Deck Med (or other) that I have watched. Capt. Sandy is attempting to rewrite what we all watch transpire in an attempt to spare her image. Strange that Malia did not go to Sandy the very morning after Hannah's anxiety attack, but rather waited at least a 1.5 - 2 days, and after the room debate, to text a photo to Sandy. If she was so concerned and if they were at such a risk, why wait??? We see you for exactly what you are...despicably rotten. I'd love to hear Tom's side of why they broke up. As if I'd believe a single word uttered by Malia. AND btw, everyone knew that Hannah and Bugsy had a bad history. Capt. Sandy's attempt at feigning ignorance is laughable.

Amen.. Malia never ran the deck Sandy did. All malia did was knock the deck crew and run to sandy. Even when the guys was joking around just like you do at work while still doing your job you was miserable. Poor Rob heard about the rope not throw hard enough to reach dock. Poor Alex was bring up the slide and the lady's was joking with him and being playful. Malia said a little less talking and more working. She is rude obnoxious and sneaky!

I just started watching this series and only kept watching because of Hannah. I don't know how she kept it together, showed what the service industry can do to you - the anxiety, the breakdowns, nothing is EVER good enough. I cried when she was let go; her mental health was weaponized against her! Needless to say, I couldn't finish season 5, was not the same without Hannah. :(

It was BS. I loved and respected Captain Sandy so much until this season. Sandy showed so much favoritism towards Mila it was unreal. Hannah got the shit end of the stick because she wanted an excuse for her behavior. She could have simply had Hannah removed the marijuana (seeing as they were docked) and write up her prescription in the log. If she couldn’t get the prescription verified because the paperwork was at home she could have removed it as well. I mean come on we ain’t stupid. I’ve been trained in this and there is an answer to something before going to this extreme.

I am not always team Hannah, and I certainly think she should have registered her prescriptions with the boat, but on this issue she is correct. She and Bugs DID have an adult conversation, Sandy, they DID decide what was best for the team and you and Malia/Tom did not like it. Do I think they should have been able to room together, I do. But everyone is the best judge of their own comfort levels. Their concern was that they finally had a good working relationship and did not want to jeopardize that. The fact that Sandy and Malia BOTH felt so compelled to rescue Tom from a fate worse than death and make sure he got to room with Malia says something about how compulsive and codependent they both are. We now know why Malia felt this pressure because Tom is the way he is, she was probably at least partly trying to keep his ridiculous temper under wraps. Sandy was being over protective of both Malia and Tom but she also, and we saw it here clearly, treated the interior team like children. It was shaming, rude, and disrespectful to announce that over walkie talkies without a momentary discussion with Hannah. Full stop. I do not understand the hate directed at Malia and I do not think she in any way tried to get Hannah ousted. I think Tom might be worthy of some feedback from the world but it looks as though he has learned exactly nothing in watching himself on camera. I have to say that IS a talent. Missing the sheer volume of his ridiculous tantrums is nuts. How anyone can watch that episode and see themselves as a victim after ripping sweet Aesha to shreds is beyond me. Sandy, where is your progress in not micromanaging? We have seen you on camera say that Hannah makes the room assignments... If indeed it was the Bosun’s purview then why is this the first Hannah or any of us is hearing this? Communication is critical and critical communication sinks ships. Ahem, and careers. Side note- Tom is, reportedly, a grown up. For him to whine and rant about what he gave up to do this and what he should have been doing instead is childish and petulant. I think Sandy was right in that he needed to face the consequences of his own actions. The fact that Malia had to save him, again, in the galley just goes to show he is not ready for an adult relationship. Malia may not be either. I recommend Al Anon, it is free, work on those compulsive rescuing behaviors. Learn to be choiceful. Having personal boundaries is about taking care of oneself so that we can avoid such blow ups that impact others. Tom continually going to Malia instead of Sandy guaranteed to supply drama. On land he could have easily been slapped with a restraining order. EVERYONE benefits when people manage their own boundaries.

Good for you Hannah!! Sandy was so out of line with the way she yelled over the intercom about you moving out of your room to make way for the Loveboat couple. What I think she should have done was to go by seniority with cabins. Hannah was Head Stew already settled in her room. Why not make Bugsy move in with Hannah and have Malea and Tom take that room. That would have been polite and not humiliating. Anyway Hannah, you looked beautiful tonight with your hair in a bun and wearing white. I loved seeing Captain Sandy deflated by your assertive but elegant self.

There is no excuse sandy can come up with to excuse how wrong she handled it. You can see sandy is lying, she talks accountability but she herself takes none. Hannah behaved professional from the time bugsy got on the boat. Hannah and bugsy put their differences aside to work together. They did well. Instead of being praised by their boss for stepping up and putting the guests 1st, sandy wants to force 2 people who are not friends, who are exhausted as its the end of the season and tempers are already short as everyone knows the end is near. No good boss or manager would do that. NO BOSS WHO IS EVAN ALITTLE COMPETENT would do that. The couple shares a bunk. Just sleep in each others bunk. How freaking hard is that. I really really hope bravo listens to fans and gets a different captain for next season. I know so many people, including me who wont watch next season if sandy is on. Hoping they find a young sexy, crazy captain, a daring captain, wouldn't that be so much fun.

Sandy has a hard on for Malia. They probably been screwing. Malia is a straight snake. If she felt that way about the "drugs" why didn't she inform the captain the same day. No, what she did was go to the captain and say, "hey, is Hannah alright, she was like hyperventilating and having a panic attack, etc." Meanwhile, the team goes out that night and the next day, she asked Hannah about switching rooms. She only turned her in after she said no. If Hannah was to be fired, so was she as an accomplice. Don't bring Sandy or Malia back if there's another season. I will never watch Below Deck Med again. Captain Lee is much more of a professional Captain than Captain Sandy! Captain Sandy has no accountability for her actions and what she did to make the boat toxic. Watching Malia kiss Sandy's but through this whole reunion was disgusting considering Captain Sandy not that long ago had the audacity to post on a video calling Malia gay and saying that Malia had not come out yet. What gives her the right as a Captain to speak in regards to any current, future, or former employees' sexual status let alone make an assumption that many people will believe is true. Captain Sandy and Malia were snaky to Hannah and I am beyond disgusted that they threw Hannah under the bus. While yes, Hannah was not at the top of her game this season she has been doing this for a long time and anyone who is ready to end a career is going to be in a different state of mind as they no longer love their job and want to move on with their life. No one wants to be yachtie forever only people like Sandy and Malia as Sandy is a Captain and Malia wants to be a Captain. It's Below Deck only for me going forward and I may not even watch that since Kate is gone. Kate and Hannah were the main reasons I watched these shows.
