I really love the designs of those French bronze centimes coins from about 1900-1920. That 5 centimes especially. I got one myself, but it's grade isn't that high as the one you're showing here.

#2:08 I'm glad you learned SVERIGE is Sweden. (Earlier in your 1/2 Pound bag search vids, you said the "SVERIGE" coin you had you thought it was Russian. #8:45 "NG' is Tagalog (Filipino language) for "of." #9:17 The Swiss mint mark B stands for the Berne Mint. #9:47 The coin is from Syria. #10:29 Is made from a brass alloy.

Do coin shops buy random world coins in bulk?
@TreasureTownCoins5 жыл бұрын
Very rarely. Normally we will pay really well on the silver and other stuff and pick up extra (non-Silver) world coins for almost nothing.

Currently binging your videos right now (new subscriber, so expect some new comments on old videos, haha), and I just wanted to say that the 'NG' on the Philippine coin is Filipino for 'OF', so 'REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS' translates to 'REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES'. 😁
@gideonthelion40235 жыл бұрын
The pronunciation of it is similar to 'Aang' from Avatar, except it has an 'n' up front.
@TreasureTownCoins5 жыл бұрын
Cool! And I did not know that... you learn something new every day!! Thanks Gideon.

Where can I buy lots that contain silver ones?
@zackjones85565 жыл бұрын
Master most foreign coin lots are just randomly selected and thrown into a bag, so it's pretty much just luck
@TreasureTownCoins5 жыл бұрын
They're mostly luck... I pay a lot more so that I can get a better mix.

You shouldnt use the American way of pronouncing aluminum when looking at old world coins. You should use the British way of pronouncing aluMINium, with the stress on the MIN.
@TreasureTownCoins5 жыл бұрын
Oh no! I generally pronounce the American way. Maybe I'll try it out haha
