For those moments I was eternally grateful it helped me cope with the countless days when she would stare at my face often struggling to remember who I was. She was robbed of the ability to love her Children until the end and we were robbed of her Maternal Lifelong Bond when this cruel disease rendered her unable to know who we were. I never comment, but I had to for this. My dad passed away six months ago from Parkinson’s and dementia relating to his time in the Army. He was a retired major, and also a Vietnam Vet. I’m crying as I watch this because I see my dad through your father. These military and patriotic tunes were something he never lost his memory of, even at the end. Thank you so much for this. Thank you to your father as well. From one military family to another :)

Sir...from one vet to you, I salute your father. Truly I say to you, if not for men like this LTC and your father, my generation and my niece's generation would not be here today. Words cannot express the gratitude and honor that this man, and your father, both earned. Thank you both for your service.

Finally KZbin is recommending a video well deserved of the viewership. Lots of respect for this veteran! My grandpa had Alzheimer’s and it was very rough, it gets really emotional when they can’t remember who you are especially being a grandchild or even their own child.. I’m glad that they did this for him. 👏🏼

@Hate Is Love I wouldn’t consider Heroshima and Nagasaki war crimes seeing as we were preventing further civilian and non-civilian casualties The reason why they did so much damage is that the Japanese government would not let people evacuate and would not surrender even after we dropped pamphlets in Japanese telling them to leave immediately. Even after we dropped Little Boy, we had to drop one more bomb to get them to surrender, therefore, ending the war. What I’m saying is, it was more Japan’s fault for the amount of casualties than it was for the U.S

As a Korean, it is quite meaningful to see a Korean war vet treated with such degree of respect. Thank you for your service to not only your, but our country, that we may live free and prosper. Wish for your best! Lest we forget our 16 allies that aided the conflict by sending troops to foreign lands that they knew nothing of to protect its people they didn't even know the names to, the 5 allies that assisted with medical supplies that saved countless lives in the field of battle, the 39 allies that aided with supplies and funding to single handedly save the war effort. In your sacrifice, in your memory, we give thanks and live on, giving back just as we have once received. For that opportunity I give thanks!
