Man can’t believe how this band has progressed in pas five years,especially madam “Bix” on trumpet. I’m 77 year old son of 30’s Dixieland jazz clarinetist. My six siblings and I were raised to know the music and play it. Only wish Dad were alive to hear you guys. Amazingly you guys have a repertoire that only a few could imagine. Don’t know who does the research and passing it on to the band but keep it coming.

God I love these guys. That fabulous foursome righthand to the singer make my chair squeak from all the sit-down bouncin' that I do. This is one sweet stroll down memory lane, to a time long before my time. It is so good for the soul, to bring that all forward for my blessed ears. I got me one precious album of theirs, and would have all the others if I could get 'em. If this was the only thing could bring me to the Big Easy - I'd go anyhow.

wonderful bunch of talented people...love your stuff..as a kid i wanted to play trumpet but could not afford one.st around 11 i got a snare drum for ten dollars and with mom's old pots and pans i played to records till i was 14 and finally got my first set of Ludwig drums.this was in 1956.use to listen to WWL from Tyler,Texas back in those evenings.Dick Martin had a jazz show.hope to see you live before i pass.gonna be 78 this month..R

I noted the inclusion of the alto clarinet in the band. Alto clarinet is the step child of band instruments. When I was in high school I was told that if you put the alto clarinet case on the dashboard of your car, you could get handicapped parking. King Mutt was a famous player of the alto clarinet in jazz band in the '20s.. Glad to see T Skinny featuring the alto clarinet.
