Very informative video. I liked the way you did the different camera angles. Very helpful.

Thanks, I just acquired a WWP15. I wish ANYONE would do a video on how to rig the sails and such. I have some sailing experience with boats 25 foot and smaller. I would love to have a video on how to rig the lines.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will work on that! Fair winds!

I got the instructions off line and that has made things clearer. I will work on a video soon as they are so helpful.

I just bought a 1996 wwp15 with no set up for cradling the mast while trailering. I admire your setup on the bow pulpit and wish I had details of that and the aft crutch.

Thanks for your comment. Gimme a day or two and I'll try to make another short video of my set up. :-)

Did you buy that boat with the furling jib? If not how’d you do it?

I ordered a “CDI Flexible Furler” and a compatible headsail from Hyde Sails. Easy peasy. www.sailcdi.com/flexiblefurlers www.hydesails.com

There's an aftermarket mast step that might make raising the mast easier for some. It replaces that cup arrangement with a hinge. It's especially helpful if you need to restep the mast on the water. www.duckworks.com/product-p/da-dm1.htm

Perhaps. But I have also seen examples where those hinged steps resulted in catastrophic rig/hull damage if a stay should fail. Trade offs to everything.

It's West Wight Potter.

Agreed. LOL, it took 6 years before anyone felt a deep desire to correct that error. FYI, I also used to struggle about correcting minor grammatical issues. But then, I went sailing, and I relaxed, and I got over it. Fair winds!
