A piece of trivia for you real die hard WWTBAM fans… During $250k winner Scott McKeeve's run on the show (which is on youtube), his companion (and girlfriend), Caroline mentioned that she was once a fastest finger finalist but didn't make it into the hot seat… Well, that's her in this episode!

And before you tell me I watch this show too much, remember who's uploading these episodes 😏😏

I found it so awkward that Scott & Caroline broke up in the week between when he won the $250K and when he came back to see his $500K question and the awkward transition Regis had to make to get back into the game following the week layoff LOL

@@WWTBAMclassics I can respect that I myself watched a lot of the price is right during my childhood but only when I had time off from school 🏫 or it aired a $1,000,000 spectacular and just yesterday I found another go to game show to watch on my phone 📱 in high rollers!

I figured that a pullet is a baby hen because chicken in french is "poulet". But that might just be a coincidence and not related at all. Similarly if you know basic French, you know that an apple is called "pomme" which makes that question very easy. I'm shocked that the majority of the audience didn't know that.

I knew studying French for so many years would pay off on Joe's question that he missed. "Poulet" is the French word for chicken, and "poule" for hen, hence "pullet" in English. I'm sure it's similar in other Romance languages.
@EricAKATheBelgianGuy4 жыл бұрын
And Angie's "pome" question is the same way, from "pomme" in French.

All I could think of was "pommes frites" which is Swedish for french fries. Not exactly helpful, but the French logic checks out.

Weirdly enough, I did have a hunch about the income tax question due to comic books. In one of Don Rosa's stories, Theodore Roosevelt tells Scrooge McDuck to stop betlitteling him or he will create a law about income tax. I remember the story taking place in Panama... if I only remembered the year it took place too!

Jim WTF? Like really? Why would you blow a lifeline on a question related to "The Berenstain Bears" Book Series. Once he said Ask The Audience I went watch this now prove him wrong with an overwhelming percent. And Look @ 40:31 92% said bears. Jim you should know better than that. I know the answer as soon as Regis finished the question: I would said C: Bears, FINAL ANSWER! Got it, on to the next one.

If you don't know, using a lifeline isn't blowing it, it's putting it to good use.

@@seikibrian8641 I'll put it to good use but on a question for a 2-5 year old, NOT. And for questions 1-5 Abosutely NOT. As this is question 6, Keyword: Berenstain. Good enough for me to hit out the answer.

Are they allowed to tell the audience not to vote if they dont know the answer? The audience tend to sabotage the players once hey get past the 16000 question.
@WWTBAMclassics6 жыл бұрын
I've seen players do that before. One of them, Moe Cain, asked that of them on his $1,000,000 question (a very slim plurality gave the correct answer) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKWcdnawa9KffsU

WWTBAMclassics Awesome thanks. And yeah thats what i mean. I feel like the Ask the Audience lifeline is only worth it before the 16000 question range. Ive been binge watching your channel, and often times the audience mislead the poor contestants.
