I actually saw the two-move mate played in the US Junior championship in 1982. One player didn't feel well and said he wanted to forfeit his last match and go home. Someone told him that if he did that he would forfeit his appearance fee. So he played 1. g5 d5 2. f5 Qh4#, got up, shook hands with his opponent and left town.

@@vishwesh_nh I know English is hard and annoying, but I can't help but mention that whenever a native like myself hears the word, "Master" in replacement for Teacher or Coach, we can't help but associate it either with Slavery, or Sexual kinks. When I hear the word, "Master" out of the context of ranks, in the context of you, "Having a master" I literally imagine you to be talking about slave owners. It's probably one of those things where your native language's word for our equivalent of, "Teacher" happens to also be our equivalent of, "Master"

@sarang9219
@sarang9219 Жыл бұрын
Actually if black does f5 or f6, u could checkmate by doing e4, and use ur queen to check. After that, they are going to defend the king with the pond. Then u should move ur bishop to the first square it could go. They will definitely take the queen but that’s a major blunder because if white just takes the pond it will be mate.

@sarang9219
@sarang9219 Жыл бұрын
@@Prathap_7055 Sorry, I meant If black does f5 or f6 then u could do ef4 and use ur queen to check. And the only thing that they can do is to block the check with the pond, attacking the queen. But the move you should do after that is move your bishop next to the queen, to the first square it could go. If they take the queen with their pond, that’s a blunder because your bishop could take the pond and it will be a checkmate.
