This really is why time controls are important in chess now. Computers have made classical chess long, boring, and usually ending in draws. In tighter time controls we know the execution isn't going to be perfect, and its impossible to memorize as many computer lines, so it makes it inherently more human. Also makes it more watchable. Much more excitement.

@6:28: I think the correct move is to sac the queen via Qc5 (if black takes white gets 2 connected passers). Magnus tried to avoid that but had to sac his queen anyway (worse version).

Magnus did everything right. He sacrificed his queen - this was not a blunder. Fabiano, on the other hand, made just one wrong move. Qc6 rather than Rc6 would've ended the game, as the commentator said. Great commentator, by the way.

✍️Magnus Carlsen ;- -Self-confidence is very important. If you don’t think you can win, you will take cowardly decisions in the crucial moments, out of sheer respect for your opponent. You see the opportunity but also greater limitations than you should. I have always believed in what I do on the chessboard, even when I had no objective reason to. It is better to overestimate your prospects than underestimate them. Subscribe us to watch magnus Carlsen videos thanks for the valuable time😊
