It's considered polite to rearrange the pieces after a game has ended. Normally the loser storms out and the winner (if polite) rearranges them. Magnus has the good habit of doing it more often than not, even on the losing side.

Hikaru deserved the win today because he was winning most of the time, Also he was +4 which was a resignable position but yeah it's magnus he will use his "Magnus-effect". What a game! Watched it without enginebar or commentators. Magnus got completly outplayed in the opening but then made it as hard as it could be for hikaru. Traps to spot and hard moves to find everywhere. But Hikaru did an insane job solving every riddle while also advancing forwards, move by move. Just a few accurate moves more and hikaru would have done it. but then he blunders and magnus got in an endgame, wich looks like its a draw but you also know, if black isnt carefull and atleast some precise, he could easly lose. And the only one who can win there is white. But a few moves later, Magnus ran out of time. Just insane.

What a game! Very entertaining Armageddon game by the top players in the world. So many twists and turns… First Magnus fell for the poisoned central pawn trap leading to a losing position. Then Hikaru being distracted by the black knight and central passed pawn failed to find the winning continuation, and shockingly returned the queen plus material advantage leading to a possible drawn endgame (win for Magnus). During the complicated fracas, Magnus failed to watch the clock ending up losing on time. 😂
