MAKING EYELET CURTAINS using eyelet heading tape - YouTube

If you’re stuck on how to make the holes, I just made my first ever eyelet curtains and this worked perfectly: After stitching the tape onto the curtains as in the video, I drew round the inside of the rings, so I had circles drawn on the wrong side of the fabric. Then I used a seam ripper to pierce the centre of the circle and rip from the centre to the edge (going right through the curtain and lining at once) Xxxxxxxxx , then the centre to the opposite edge. I now had a slit going right across the circle. Next I took a pair of curved manicure scissors and cut round the circle I had drawn. (These wee scissors are great for cutting the curve in such a small space!). It worked like a dream! Super easy! 😊

Was hoping for a more helpful video, the most important part was not shown as previous comments said, making the holes, it seemed as if it was cut off the video on purpose, very disappointing!

It was nice , you showed the space at the end, a nice neat job. The hole thing I found on another video put the 2together and Bingo. if you started off having those round clip things it would have made the process a lot easier.I started mine and it’s all coming together. Thanks

Throughout the whole video it shows no plastic tab on the end of the header tape but in the last section when the curtain goes on the pole all of a sudden the plastic tab is on the end !!!! This makes a difference to how they tie at the back so not a great video to follow.

Sorry you were disappointed, we are trying to improve our videos as we do new ones. It is difficult to overcome the noise of the sewing machine, you can always turn the sound down and view the subtitles/captions.
