Why doesn't the reporter call these survivors women or young ladies instead of 'you guys '? At least the end of the interview he did once. The importance of the subject points to the identity for more respect.. Don't be so lazy or please take more notice.

The board had multiple opportunities to avoid a lawsuit. Their actions alone caused their loss. They have attacked survivors by name and called them liars. I’m sure if you found out that the institution who employed your abuser had the ample opportunity to stop them and didn’t, you would want them held accountable too. This wasn’t about money but if MSU refused to change, then go after something that will make them. Money is the only thing the university cares about. They have made that clear in their private statements. The survivors only filed a lawsuit when it became clear MSU wasn’t going to change anything even though a pedophile flourished under their leadership for over 20 years. They did that to themselves. Don’t blame the survivors for calling it out failures of the university that would have landed them in a lawsuit eventually.

@@steveedward7572 this isn’t” just asking questions”. Your accusing people of lying about one of the worst things to lie about. And what are you talking about destroying businesses? No institution was bankrupt by this case. The fact that you have gone to every single video on this topic to comment the same dumb things implies you have some type of weird interest in this case. You obviously haven’t even researched into it past some dollar amount you think they obtained in their lawsuits. It wasn’t the sum you keep plastering around. They settled with MSU for 500 million dollars but that was for hundreds of women and girls. You keep implying that all survivors in this case even had their impact statements written for them. Sad that even after seeing the emotion from those women and girls you still question their motivations. That’s even if your watching these videos you comment on. I can’t see your other replies because a lot of your comments were deleted but I have told you in the past that MSU as well as USAG brought those lawsuits on themselves. They refused to work with the victims and openly mocked them in public. They were denying all responsibility for letting a pedophile get away with abuse under their leadership for over 20 years. They even covered up for him when they fired him as well as when an investigation began. The university/organizations were clear they would have been happier with a pedophile running rampant under their noses as long as it didn’t cost them money. It’s clear you’d rather harass the victims with easily discreditable lies than look into the case yourself. Get a hobby. You must have a lot of time on your hands as I have seen your comments in every video that I have watched about this case.

@@steveedward7572 this statement just proves you haven’t looked into this case throughly. He was reported. He was investigated over 7 times in the 30 years before his arrest. Every time he was protected. Not only by MSU but the United States Olympic committee and USAG. He was believed over the women and young girls that came forward because he disguised his abuse as a medical treatment. No one was willing to look further into the allegations to prove he wasn’t abusing these young women. Hell even the F.B.I was reprimanded for the way they let the case against him die in someone’s department. One of the agents assigned to his case was even hired by USAG during the investigation. The institutions that covered for him were more concerned with money and reputation than the athletes being abused under their watch. Yes he fooled parents and athletes. But for the ones who came forward, they were always gaslit into believing they were just causing problems or had a dirty mind. They were even forced to go back to him because he was the only doctor they were allowed to see if they wanted to continue their sport. He was a decorated doctor and was seen as a man who could do no wrong in his community. Red flags and even straight up abuse were brushed off because of the reputation he had built for himself. It was only after they discovered the child pornography on his hard drives that the community stopped supporting him. Even after Rachael Denhollander had built the case and over 50 women had come forward, a prosecutor was going to let Larry off with a slap on the wrist. Letting him plead guilty for the child pornography but in exchange dismissing all the sexual assault cases against him. Meaning Larry would have been able to keep his medical license and continue his practice. Larry is one of the most prolific pedophiles ever discovered. For you to make the dozen of disprovable statements while not knowing the whole case hurts the survivors. You realize they look at these comments right? And you’ve made it a point to comment multiple false things on almost every video I’ve seen about this case. I’m confused why your so invested while not even knowing the entire scope of this case. Yes the lawsuit won a lot of money but for the years of straight up covering for a pedophile pales in comparison. These institutions had multiple opportunities to work with the survivors that came forward but chose to fight them at every turn. They brought this lawsuit on themselves. MSU was even sued by other women and athletes who were not apart of the Larry Nassar case but had other instances of abuse being dismissed by the leadership of the university. They are the reason they lost that money.
