Hey guys! They played in Australia at the start of the year at one of our biggest festivals called unify gathering 2020. I've never seen a band get so much respect on stage, they spent 15 mintues talking about rehab and the journey they took to get back on stage and everybody at the whole festival sat down on the grass to listen. It was probably 1am. Polaris and Northlane also played before them and toned down there sets and gave up there confetti cannon for them so they could have the biggest and best set of the night. It's a show I'll never forget.

I was able to make it to their comeback show in LA. Jonathan did a kind of a poll at one point in the show and asked how far people came. People flew in from all over the world. I'm pretty sure he specifically asked if anyone was from Australia, and if anyone was from Japan. There were cheers for both. I think the decision to play the show in Australia was because people had flown all the way there to LA to see their comeback show. It was sort of a gesture of appreciation to them for traveling all that way.

Australia was one of the first places outside of America to get fully behind the band and TGI were constantly getting messages on myspace from fans here asking for them to come and tour. mind you at this time they weren't even headlining shows over stateside. They came to Australia as a one night only show for Unify Gathering as a "thank you for everything" moment for everything that this country has done for them. They had a massive speech about it and what they've endured at the festival about it. Everyone took a knee for the whole thing as a sign of respect
