Kevin Shelor are you talking about the bass drum? well, for anything in general, you just need to practice. you can try some exercises for leg power on youtube. believe me, it helped me a lot. Now dont undergo some drastic changes on your technique. just practice the technical exercises. I couldn't believe I improved a hell lot in just a month. (just tear those legs :P )
