Miss Helen, I’m a Georgia girl too! I’m 72 and the matriarch of my family now. How I miss my mother and sister, but sitting a while with you feels so comfortable! 😢 God loves a “Joyful Noise” and your voice is calming and joyful. That’s why the birds and animals love your voice! It’s filled with Southern Charm, Grace and Love. Thank you so much for sharing your time and crafts with all of us! I feel as if I visited home! 🙏❤️🥰

Hello, Helen, it's 4-45am early Tuesday morning, I had a very upsetting Monday afternoon and cried because I felt my heart had been broken by one of my family, and it was such a blessing to watch my sweet little "Earth Angel" making your lovely pot with broken plates, you are such a blessing, the dear Lord sent you to lighten up our world, I feel so much better now that I have seen you, and you say such kind words to us all that lift our spirits up, you are such a joy to watch, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for the joy that you bring - God Bless you and all our dear friends that watch your videos - love Maureen from Kent, England

I am 46, yet grew up similar Miss Helen. We drew our water from an old well and cooked meals on an old coal stoves. We had a big metal washtub that we took baths in. We'd draw the water from the well and heat it up on the coal stove, then pour it in the washtub. We had an outhouse as well. And we also had to walk to a long ways from our house, up a hill, for the bus to pick us up too. We'd stand out in the rain, snow, heat, to catch that bus. I had never been away from my mom either and she TRIED to start me in school when I was 4 and I ended up biting the teacher. LOL She took me out and put me back in when I was 5. My Daddy was a coalminer and he would come home covered in soot/coal dust and all you could see was the whites of his eyes bless his heart. He would work sometimes 16 hour a day, yet he ALWAYS made time to play with me. He would make me homemade toys that I treasured more than anything in this world. Those times were simpler and harder, yet those were my fondest memories. Thank you for your stories Miss Helen. I LOVE listening to them. God bless you. Love you! ~Tami

Hello, Mrs. Helen, I’m 61 years old & live in Florida. My momma was from Alabama & told stories of living much like you did as a small child. Hearing your sweet voice & stories are a soothing balm to my soul. I miss her still so much & have lived 42 years now on this earth without her. I pray God sends many people to help you with things that are difficult for you to do. Your encouragement & lively spirit is such a joy to watch. I’m more into cooking than crafts but I watch you do your projects because you are a wonderful & godly woman.

Thank you Helen for sharing your peaceful place with us. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by God's beauty. I'm enjoying watching the pretty birds in the background. I love to paint birds and flowers and I also enjoy sitting outside in my peaceful place in the mornings before it gets too hot and also in the evenings and watch the birdies flying by and especially love when they stop and spend some time in my backyard drinking water and eating the sunflower seeds that I put out for them. And I especially love when hummingbirds come to my humming bird feeder and flowers. I just wish that they would stay longer. I love the crafts that you do, they are so colorful and full of joy, The Joy Of The Lord!!! :0) I really love the mosaic pots (especially the one that had the bright yellow flower) and the beautiful cross that you did. It is a joy to use the talents that our Lord and Savior has given us to bring Him Glory ... :0)

It is good you have a Kingsnake, they will keep the bad snakes away, They are called a Kingsnake because they will fight with all venomous snakes and they will always win because they Kingsnake is immune to the venom but the venomous snake is not immune to its own venom. The Kingsnake will get the other snake to bite its self. I lived on a ranch and as long as we had a Kingsnake no rattlesnakes came around but the neighboring ranches had problems with rattlesnakes. The pot end up being so pretty, I love watching you.

Hi Helen. July 19, 2020 I just saw your phone conversation with Sandy in North Carolina just 30 minutes ago it was when you called her to thank her for making your Quilt for you. I assume you got it a couple months ago.... I was waiting for her to mention to you about her asking for donations for your financial problems - and for all of us to send their donations to her at her address.. It made me more concerned that she didn’t get permission from you, for her to collect the money :-(. Makes me wonder why she didn’t mention to you how much money she collected for you so far ? She would probably say it was a surprise. I was also wondering if you have checked with an Attorney about your Sister-In-Law’s threats of taking all the belongs of yours AND money that she expects to get from you after taking your husband home with her 2 years ago just before he died... how did she feel justified to have that attitude?? She sure should not have a legal leg to stand on. Please find out for your own sake if it’s legal what she is doing to you. I sure hope you have talked with an attorney about what she is threatening you about.? Dorothy

You did an awesome job on that planter, Helen! I enjoyed your story about how you felt when you went to school and had to leave your mom. I remember my first day at school and I felt traumatized being separated from my mom. I understood exactly what you were saying! Thank you for sharing your stories while making lovely projects! I can't wait to make one of these!

I would have glass in my eyes, my hands, my clothes! You remind me of my sister. She doesn't give up on anything she puts her mind to do.

Hello Helen. Watching you helps me get up and do things I don't think I have the energy to do. I'm 57 and live alone and get depressed alot but Watching you helps me you brighten my day. I would love to hear more of your stories of when you grew up. When I started school I threw up everyday for about the first 4 months when I would get to school. Love and look forward to every video thank you for being here for us

Hi from Hartsville SC. I grew up in a city of 32,000 in northern Illinois. Still enjoyed hearing your stories while you work. Your project turned out beautiful! I would love to sit outside with your beautiful flowers and birds but I am one of those that can't take the heat for long and am so very grateful for air conditioning.
