This was actually recorded in 2019 and is about a virus in Hong Kong and is not about Covid19, Oli talked about it in an interview. They delayed the release of the song when Covid19 hit because it felt like the wrong timing before they changed their mind and released it anyway.

Appearantly its a bulgarian folk song about a man who wants to dance with the town but they reject him because he is sick. So in a way yes!

Bring me the Horizon will be looked at as pioneers when all is said and done. The transition this band has gone through is some of the most versatile and creative transitions I've ever seen. Oli is easily in my top 5 for metal front men. The whole band is fantastic. Can't wait for the next album.

Yes! Im not a fan of every evolution they've made, but its never once felt like they "sold out". It feels like they genuinely made musical evolutions on their own accord

Thats the Spirit was the last one i really liked overall, but they've definitely released songs on Amo and Music to Listen To that were super creative. Sempiternal was arguably one of the best metalcore albums in the history of the genre, and it would have been super easy for them to just copy that formula over and over and rode that train to the bank. I have major respect for them deciding it's their band and they'll make what they want to make

Very creative, we must realize, we live in the tighest music era, cos music is very small workplace, if u are not be careful u can plagiarizing some music, but bmth with oli and Jordan always find a way to make something fresh with mixing all over good, weird tune to a great, catchy music, that's all about taste, experience, preference, and brain work, they have the formula, and always step ahead everything elses

They are. No other band has changed their style this much and still managed to stay this relevant and loved. They kept experimenting. They have such a unique sound going right now... with ludens and this. Oli is extremely talented... being able to bring so many styles together and still managing to make it sound this good. Loved Parasite Eve... I can tell that they put an aweful lot of effort into it.

Mae Helsinki Ludens is different though. It’s about the game where the protagonist doesn’t like physical contact and the rest of the world are underground which I understand is kinda like our situation right now.

When I heard the teasers to this song I really saw similar tones to the Doom soundtrack. Well after watching the studio teasers, I found out that they collaborated with Mick Gordon on this song which is absolutely awesome!

I listened to the premiere on bbc radio one which was maybe half an hour before the youtube premiere and they played it 3 times!! And Oliver was talking about the whole process. Loved it all over. What really made this song for me was watching the BTS of how it was made. Seeing how well the band took the lockdown in stride and put that anger/fear into the song made me appreciate it even more. Prophetic lyrics yet again!

Such a great song! with what they’ve dropped so far it looks like it’s gonna be a dope album! They’re definitely experimenting a lot more music wise and visually as well with the video. Good shit as always guys keep em coming
