I lost the clear cap that screws over the charging port. I can not find a replacement anywhere not even from Wybot directly who told me its out of stock 4 months ago! Does anyone know if I can run it without it? amd just ensure it's dry before I charge it... it looks water tight.

Can't say I've tried it so definitely no guarantee, but I THINK it'll run fine. I have other rechargeable robot cleaners that just have those exposed with no cap. However, like anything metal, the more they are exposed to water, the sooner they may start wearing out/breaking down. But so long as you dry them as much as you can as soon as the robot is done, then set the robot in the sun and let it fully air dry and most importantly NEVER connect the charger to it until it is completely 100% dry, I think it'll still run and charge fine. It just may shorten it's life a little.

DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS. They will take your money, "lose" the shipment, take no accountability and then refuse to pay you back. I bought and payed for this unit, and has not left their warehouse in a month. They refuse to give me my money back because i need to received it first and reject the shipment before they can refund me...but, again, their unit has not left their premises (according to the tracking they gave me). And don't bother with customer service. They are always too busy to answer and when they do answer, it is impossible to hear / understand them, before they mysteriously hang up on you.

That's a bummer to hear. Did you buy from Amazon or directly through Wybot? I always push buying through Amazon... That being said, this is the second Wybot pool cleaner I've had (had a much simpler one from a few years back) and it's a great product. I've never had any problems with them myself, but if they can't provide you with proof that it shipped and is being delivered and it's been over a month, I'd suggest denying the charge through your CC company.
