The first time I heard this song was 45 years and it was played by Pink Floyd a few months before the album release . This is a fantastic cover by a musician I have felt has been underrated for over 25 years . Wyclef is a well rounded musician.

Yyclef...I first heard this song in 2000 on a jazz station in Boston on my way to work. It was a completely fucked up day and Wish You Were Here was/is one of my faves from (another lifetime ago). You brought this tune to a whole new level for me and ... that you may never know...some years later it felt good to share it with a really cool cat. Hope to hang with you one day...in a soulful way. P.S. on that same day I heard a jazzy riff created by Slash from GNR. ...makes me wonder if it was all real. Love it when artists step outside their realm. xo
