The name comes from their duality much like their senior group BLACKPINK. BABY is for their youthful, cute, playful side and MONTER is their fierce, sassy side. But they are also monsters when ti comes to their vocal, rap, and dancing. In other words the talent that this group has is among the top in the current K-pop generation. 7 members that comes from different backgrounds: 3 are from Korea, 2 from Japan, and 2 from Thailand. They range in ages from 15 - 22. They are an extremely versatile group as they can do a lot of different genres of music. July 1st is when they released their most correct comeback with the song FOREVER. The song SHEESH was the first time that they appeared as a 7 member group with the long awaited return of Ahyeon. After the line-up was announced, Ahyeon went on hiatus officially for medical reasons but it seems that she needed a mental break because of things that were going around on the internet about her use of the "N" word which received a lot of backlash and some really nasty comments toward her. They have a few music videos out: DREAM BATTER UP STUCK IN THE MIDDLE CHRISTMAS WITHOUT YOU SHEESH LIKE THAT FOREVER The members have individual performances that showcase their talent on the YG channel The performances that they have on their channel is mostly from the show THE LAST EVALUATION which also shows their vocal talent. They do have a lot of content considering that they have debut less than a year.

Babymonster is definitely not a spooky theme or halloween vibe...They got the name Babymonster because they are very young and so talented (monsters in their vocals, rap, and dance)...their journey is well documented how YG put them together with the help of their fellow YG senior artists like Blackpink, WINNER, and AKMU, and also YGX Dancers...YG's Producers Choice37, Sonny, and LP. Fun Fact: Babymonster was one of the names that was being chosen for Blackpink along with Pink Punk...but YG decided to go with Blackpink. Babymonster was copyrighted by YG...shelfed it for 7 years...till they started the Babymonster project again...featuring these girls you just watched in a show called The Last Evaluation.

They are from yg and are a new group that debuted last year but with only 6 members and now in month 04 they made their official debut with the 7th member who was on hiatus because of har health was very weak, And they were formed through a reality show called THE LAST EVALUATION, but before all that they introduced the girls with some videos that are really worth reacting to!!! Just a slight correction. They were not formed through the show THE LAST EVALUATION as they had already been training for around 4 - 5 years at that point. It was showing their last two months of evaluations in their YG training. In the introduction videos for the members you can see that they had at least 10 trainees in the two years prior to THE LAST EVALUATION.

First, thanks for your reaction. Next, you've got some catching up to do. These 7 young ladies are exceptionally talented all-rounds with amazing vocals, rap, dance skills, and stage presence. In order of vocal appearance...Rora, 15; Pharita, 18 (Says baby I'mma monster); Chiquita 15; Rami, 16 (in the eye of fire); Pharitra follows Rami then the chorus/dance. Rappers are Ahyeon, 17 (Blue dress); Ruka, 22 (yellow); Asa, 18 (black w/pink). Their first release (unofficial debut) was "Batter Up" (dropped last November). After "Batter Up" came "Stuck In The Middle" which is a ballad showcasing their extraordinary vocals, in Feb 2024. These 2 releases were with 6 members because one member was on hiatus for health reasons. On April 1st, they officially debuted with all 7 members with "Sheesh", the title track of their mini album. After "Sheesh", fans wanted to hear track 3 from the album called "Like That", an R & B song gifted to them by Charlie Puth. The backstory is, Ahyeon one of the members, covered "Dangerously" by Charlie Puth for one of her monthly evaluations. It went viral and Charlie gave he huge compliments and felt "Like That" was a good fit for them. Fast forward to current day and they just release another song, a pre-release single from their upcoming full album (dropping in Sep or Oct) called "Forever". My suggestion is you cover these chronologically so you can see their progression.
