Rover went viral especially in tiktok and IG because a lot of idols did the challenge with him. During his promotions a lot of idols visit him and dance the challenge with him. Ateez who's not even promoting that time especially came to his music show just to do the challenge. Kai was enlisted in the military during Killing Voice but you can still hear his voice on Cream Soda and the rest of the album. He released the Rover mini album right before enlistment but has two prior mini albums that are different vibes but just as good - check out Peaches and Mmmh! He also has films for his albums that give previews of the songs so if you want more of an introduction to his title track and some b-sides, check that out as well! He’s definitely an all-rounder in terms of his skills, truly an unforgettable person in K-pop (most people who have never checked out Exo before at least know who Kai is… that red suit in Loveshot was something else lol)

He was mainstream news for at least 2 days. He was pivotal. Idols watching backstage were mesmerized. And he became known as the "Idol of Idols." ... He didn't get to be in Killing Voice because he had just enlisted in the military. But the reason you may know the song is because of the multitude of challenges with fellow idols, EXO members and even his niece and nephew. The challenges were everywhere.
