The black hoodie guy is the incredible Taeyong. Whole NCT and NCT127 leader, main dancer, main rapper & the center the AI visual (same title as AESPA's Karina) of the group. He is the first soloist debut from NCT (Check his songs: Shalala & Tap). He is a songwriter, Taeyong has participated in writing over 40 songs + in four languages, released mostly by NCT's various units and himself as a soloist. He is one of the best dancer in NCT, that makes people call him a choreographer (served as a judge on Korean dance survival reality show Street Woman Fighter). He made the choreo of 'Fact check' & many more NCT choreos such as Zoo by NCT U. And not to say his other living skills such as a great chef in NCT & also love to design & fashion his items (shoes, clothes etc) make him as a Global Ambassador of Spanish luxury brand Loewe.

Thank you for your reaction! Black hoodie guy is leader Taeyong. I highly recommend his solo music, which he writes/composes himself. I’ll suggest Taeyong’s “Ghost” and “Shalala” MV and dance practice and/or Studio Choom for starters. Next NCT 127 suggestions are “Simon Says” and “Superhuman”; I love the dance practices for them. Looking forward to your future reactions! 😊

I really love Favorite especially when I see it live in concert. They always add a very extravaganza confetti at the nearly end of the song, with rearranged music. Ps. I highly recommend Favorite’s dance practice BEHIND video. It was so much fun to watch. They were full of energy. I remembered watch it more than 3 times.

Like everything NCT does, it's all based on their dream concept. Hence, why in NCT-127's "Favorite (Vampire)" they are vampires and why we see them sleeping in the beginning and end of the MV. Jaehyun was bit by the vampire, which is the girl they sing about and she is the one that turned them all into vampires. It's the intoxicating power of the vampire girl/butterflies that has enchanted them, which is why they say "girl you're my favorite" in the lyrics. They are beguiled by her powers, which has them devoted to her. This is also why we see them with supernatural vampire abilities like when they flash in and out as they transition between the members. (Often in romantic vampire stories they say the vampires have a shimmering effect.) That's why they focused on Yuta's eyes changing as he transitioned from being human to being a vampire, and why we saw the members become pale and less full of life as the MV went on. Vampires often also have magical powers or are able to control things with their minds, so that is why we saw the rose petals and the smoke trails because they were manifesting them as they were overcome by the passion for their "favorite vampire", etc. They're all beautiful vampires like Edward and Bella from the Twilight Series, not vampires like Count Dracula who wear a cape and sleep in a coffin, etc. LOL The butterfly is thought to represent the woman or vampire they are talking about in the song -- instead of turning into a bat, maybe she turns into a butterfly -- which is why we see the butterfly touching their hearts. (In the beginning of the MV Taeyong opens his mouth and the butterfly flies down his throat on its way to his heart.) A butterfly also appears in several of SM Entertainment's other groups' MVs, which is often used as a metaphor to represent a woman -- possibly representing a connection to the heart of the Tree of Life from EXO's storyline -- in each of the MVs, as a way to connect all of SM's storylines together. For example, in aespa's storyline starting in 2020 Ningning's symbol is a butterfly, which is thought to possibly be connected to the butterfly we see in EXO's debut "Mama" MVs from 2012, and it's even thought, could be connected to the butterflies in SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong" MV from 2009. It also could be the white butterfly that helps aespa navigate through Kwangya in aespa's "ep. 2 'Next Level' -- SM Culture Universe" video, which would explain why we see a similar white butterfly in a lot of SM's storylines. The butterfly appears to help everyone as they travel through Kwangya. (Everything SM does has to do with Kwangya -- even SM's new building where everything is created and produced is called Kwangya. Kwangya is the name SM has created for the metaverse that all of SM's groups' and artists' concepts, and most of their MV storylines revolve around.) Some say the "girl" or "love interest" that EXO -- and possibly now the rest of SM's groups -- is always singing about and we sometimes see in their MVs is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life and that is why they are always rescuing or protecting the girl, etc. And why all their songs are about being in love with someone or being controlled by the power of that person, like they talk about in "Favorite (Vampire)." Or how they talk about knowing they are bad news for the girl but they want her anyway and they can't help it, but in the end, they know they might destroy her -- as they say in EXO's "Monster" lyrics, etc., etc. When you think of the girl as the heart of the Tree of Life the storyline and connections between the groups begins to unfold even more.
