For negative rolls its 0.7 to 1.3x of the value with 61 possible rolls btw. Should still always round to positive infinity if i recall correctly (so unless im massively misremembering, thats also why a, for example, base 15 spellcost reduction has different ranges from another base 15 stat like thorns)

@elgato99463 crafted items have variance to their stats like hp on armor; damage and attack speed on weapons; and durability on everything. To be considered a "defective" crafted weapon it would need to be the minimum possible roll on every single Stat. This gets exponentially more difficult if I include any ingredients with a range to roll.

So I've been out of the loop for a while- how do lootruns and chests work now? In the past when I'd do lootruns I'd pick new servers and sit for my chest cooldown to run out.

Now there is a place by Cinfras called the Silverbull Headquarters. If you go there you can join silverbull syndicates which give you a rank system you can level up. There are 2 syndicates currently, lootrun and raid. The lootrun syndicate is levelled up through completing proper lootruns. Lootruns can be started at one of 5 lootrun camps and consist of a series of challenges where you have to complete caves(which have all been reworked a bit) battle enemies, etc. to gain bonuses and reward potential. During the lootrun you get to open a pretty good number of chests, but completing it lets you open the lootrun reward chest, which has different rewards for each lootrun location and these rewards change every week. If you want a deeper look at lootruns I believe Olinus has a video on them. There have been changes made since his video, and new lootrun camps keep being added, but the general system is still the same.

@MyrMace I want to roll the defective myself in the early and mid game. I'd take donations of unidentified items to roll to try and get defective, but prior to endgame I wouldn't consider buying defective items or taking donations of defective items.
