Having just checked the info page: What do you mean you just casually reworked the vast majority of Wynncraft's encounters and ambience in just ONE update?! And while you are on the side also working on Fruma too, so you are pulling this off with split resources. Are you crazy? How? This rivals 2.0 in terms of scale! modelengine plugin with blockbench models specifically made to work with modelengine (7x7x7 max cube/armorstand size, 22.5° and 45° only allowed cube rotations, as little armorstands on the mob as possible to keep it optimised, etc) I do blockbench stuff too and have some experience with this and this makes me really excited for this update knowig the potential of this

What's crazier is the update info on the website: It sounds like they are reworking the entire enemy side of combat for the game, which in my opinion is a crazier feat than 2.0's rework of the player classes. That's just so much to do in just a single update and while using some of their resources to work on Fruma as well too, so this isn't even the result of a fully focussed effort. This is just them doing another one of their major updates like it's not that big of a deal.

Their way of doing versions is weird. Gavel update literally changed the game forever and established the core gameplay mechanics we can still see to* this day, yet it was 1.14? While spellbound which also changed the game forever got the 2.0 as deserved, and now they are back again to give a gamechanger update 2.1? Imo gavel should have been 2.0, spellbound 3.0 and rekindled 4.0, literally different wynncrafts

@@daridon2483 yeah, I think Salted decides what versioning they give each update. Normally a MAJOR update is 2.0,3.0 etc. MINOR is 2.1, 2.3 erc and PATCH is 2.0.1, 2.0.2 etc. I do remember when i played back in the day when gavel released that Salted forgot to name the update 2.0 and instead gave it a MINOR update or what wynncraft calls a MAJOR update. I do agree, this should have been 4.0 according to the size of some updates.

Will it finally be updated past 1.8? Or we sticking with the slow-mo combat BS and extremely limited mechanics, blocks, items, etc? It'd be cool to have a Sword and Shield as a Warrior. Or a throwable spear like a Trident. Or underwater areas using the (now old) 1.13 aquatic update. A whole terraformation of the oceans and lakes would be cool. Same with the (now old) nether update for the nether! So many new blocks! We're getting new weapon types in 1.21, I think. It'd be neat to have Maces and heavy battle axes as weapons

Look at modelengine minecraft plugin or mcmodels stuff, this IS REAL. I do have some experience with this too and im not lying when i say that this is INSANELY WELL OPTIMISED. From my experience i assume if TCC together has like 20 armor stands making up its body, you would need to spawn like 50 of them at the same time to start lagging a small server, and wynn is no small server. This is also really good for fps, it barely makes a difference. THis may actually be a legendary update without goofy bugs, lag and balancing like 2.0 was on release and still is.
