Years ago, probably 12 or 13, I was a chauffeur and remember picking Cactus up in a stretch Hummer at his house in Franklin, TN. We went to pick up Wynonna in Leiper's Ford and took her to a Christmas party in Nashville I still remember to this day, I hadn't driven her in a year, and she recognized me and hugged me. Cactus was such a gentleman. These people are the real deal. I'm just now seeing this, and it's bringing back so many memories.

I love Wynonna, she is a voice for women's strength and hope, not only in this with her beloved husband but in her walk in this life! I have watched all the docuseries with her and her mother...she is truly more then a survivor, she is truly a blessing. Wynonna Judd and the Big Noise played a show this week, here in Carmel, CA. I was an old Judds fan and loved Wy's first solo album, but had gone in a different direction and not kept myself current with her. I just happened on the concert because I am an Uber driver and I picked up a passenger who was going home early from the show and she gave me her ticket and I shot back and saw the last half hour of the show. Sat in row 6 center. I knew nothing about her relationship with Cactus and wasn't quite sure when she introduced him if I was hearing right when she called him "Cactus"..... anyway, she also told the whole story of the crash and his road to recovery. I was amazed at what an energetic and talented drummer he was. He is no longer using a walker. You would never know he had any sort of limitations at all..... Now I am scouring KZbin and catching up with what has happened with Wynonna the past 10-15 years...... Pretty amazing!

What an amazing journey. I have followed the Judd's, and Wynona over the years, I have seen them in concert when they came to Albuquerque NM. My husband and I rode motorcycle's as well. We have ridden all over the black hills , sturgis, crazy horse and mount Rushmore. My husband had a fatal motorcycle accident right in front of me almost 2 years ago. I have strong faith and know I will see him again!! When I see your story i think wow GOD can do amazing things! So inspirational! Cactus is SO right when he said "There are no coincidences." The one thing that is so hard for us to believe, is that we are NOT the master of our own destiny. We are NOT the "Captain" of our ship called Life. He cried the first time he walked without the walker. Not as bad as losing a leg, but it's hard doing the therapy and pushing through the pain to get back.

WYNONNA I'm proud of you for being his nurse,changing his wound dressing, girl I have been doing it forever, nursing, I'm a nurse. But I was in South Dakota dead wood last October, contracted Covid 19 sars 2...I don't remember anything about Deadwood because I was dying. I never knew that is where You had the accident.Bravery. To get through the negatives of life. Now your mom, I have bi polar manic depression...I'm medicated too. But That darkness in the mind is a huge battle, I was so shocked about your mom.. I PRAY FOR YOU, ASHLEY, THAT you do not sink into the worst depression like your mom, it runs in families.. Statistics are Women suffer from depression more than men.Keep going girls.. This story resonates with me soo deeply. I also was in a car accident in 2018..a week after our wedding. The other driver ran the stop sign and I t-boned his truck. As a result, I shattered my right heel and ankle. Needles to say...I've had 4 surgeries total over the last 4 years. Possibly a 5th. I wish they would come to Copenhagen and play. tears running down my face as I watched this video. I can so relate, I was 49 at the time and went through a horrible spinal surgery well turned into 2 of them back to back. The first dr put one of the screws in wrong into my spinal canal when caused damage forever, only I did not know this at the time. Long story short(er) I have to go into rehab and learn how to walk again, man I cannot tell you how are this was, I am now so glad it is all behind me that is but not all the severe nerve damage. I honestly feel for you two, we never know what we are able to handle until we are given it. You touched my heart in such a sweet way...... I am so glad you had each other...How amazingly strong we can be when need be.

Wynonna, please accept my condolences. I have read a comment by someone who has had the identical experience as me. So I had to write this comment. A few days before your mother's passing, I watched an interview video of hers. Then another. I enjoyed hearing what she had to say. I'm sorry, I have not been a country music fan, just because of my life circumstances I didn't have the opportunity to hear country music. But I was always aware, through tv shows and magazines, of your music, and general story of your family's background. However, I hadn't kept myself informed about your career path, and your lives. But something caused me to want to listen to what your mother had to say. Then I terviews with your mother, you, Ashley. And afterwards, I felt so much love for your mom, for you, for Ashley. And within two days, came the news that your mother had passed away. So, I'm sure you have learned about spirituality and I have nothing to teach you about it. But I want to let you know, about my experience, about how we are somehow all connected in some way, that transcends this physical realm. I recently lost the love of my life, it was such a conflicted relationship and I have so much pain from regrets. I wish you all the best in your healing from your pain of losing your mother. You are an amazing person and have an amazing family. You are a gift to this world. ❤️

Talk about “God blessed the broken road”. You guys are seriously a match made in heaven! No one can try to tell me differently. I’ve been on a binge the last 2 days watching every documentary I can on your family (Wynona) because my sister and I can relate to you and your sister and mama sooooo well that I swear God put these videos in my site for a reason! My mom had a lot of hurt and trauma, also. I totally understand the why she was the way she was and especially towards me verses my sister. My sister is my best friend and I’d be lost without her. My point is, I love the relationship y’all have and when it’s all said and done, family is all we have left. I love this family and have grown up listening to the Judds my entire life, still to this day. Thank you for giving God the glory and thank you for being such an inspiration! Not sure if the family sees these comments or if it’s even them but just in case, I pray she knows how many lives they’ve touched on such a positive level. God bless ❤ At the end!! Did she really just say the words “God wink after God wink”?!! That is totally a term I made up 2 years ago! It’s when you’re praying and thinking on something then you read or see something that you were just praying and thinking on? That’s totally God letting you know you’re on the right track. Or at least that’s what a a God wink to me is. Now I’m convinced we’re somehow connected by our soul stories in this life haha sounds crazy but man oh man how much I’ve learned and been comforted by the interviews and documentaries. This similar thing happened to my husband 10 years ago while out on a bike training ride and hit by a motorcycle rider. He wasnt supposed to walk or run again but he was able to do a triatholon that he was training for 3 years later. God is so so Good. Had wonderful doctors and caregivers. So glad the love of your life is still in your life!! Each day is a blessing.

Wynona, I don't know you, but I love you, I respect the heck out of you, your talent was a gift from God(and your momma) sent to bring joy, fun, and comfort to all who listen. Naomi's death hit me hard because I have been living with the same things for 45 years. I'm so sad that her pain was so great. May she find the peace with God that she couldn't find on earth. Please know, all of her family and friends, her husband, there was not anything you could have done differently, sooner, nothing. I have been to that dark spot and only God and Naomi could do something. So, bless you and Cactus, Ashley, Larry
