I'm 78 and depression has affected my daily life since I was a teenager. God bless Naomi. I'm blessed that I don't have the public to deal with, but at times my depression and dealing with a back injury for 25 years is often overcoming.

Such a beautiful young lady, with so much talent. You were always trying to help people, and you were always so caring. You were a brave woman , until the time when you couldn't be brave anymore and your spirit was tired and worn. Naomi, you will forever be loved and missed. Rest in peace dear one. 🥰

I remember her playing in a Movie about Hank Williams Jr. It was called Living Proof, The Hank Williams Jr Story. She played the part of a lady who happened to be waiting for Hank Jr in his Dressing Room. He came in, and she was sitting in a Vintage Barber Chair, and she jumped down and walked up to him, and started kissing him all over, and of course we all know what followed that. He was supposed to be doing an interview with a Reporter, but his Manager sent him to his Dressing room instead.

I realize that Naomi is gone and wont be coming back but this video was both a fitting and truthful look at an extortionary Woman but an honest look at how she lived her life. Keeping in mind that Naomi was human and prone to human faults I feel that Naomi lived it with grace and dignity, A real class act and roll model. You, Naomi Judd will be missed! RIP

I’ve read and listened to her audio book, she spoke in depth about dealing with a life long agonizing depression and it never got better. She tried. Doctors tried. Her depression was treatment resistant. The Judds have been a huge part of my life all my life. Including the first concert at 9. Every interview, movie, performance. The one that sticks is the last song they sang together. I saw her eyes full of fear. She seemed scared and anxious. Almost empty. A complete opposite of her normal. People have said very cruel things about how her face looked, because of medication no less. My honest opinion, she became anxiety ridden. Disassociated. Manic. I truly believe she had no clue what was about to happen. I can’t even imagine going through it. But I’ve seen it. Physical presence but the person is completely gone. I can only hope that after our lives are no longer alive that there is peace. RIP Naomi.

I think as well as many others that Naomi already had planned to do what she did~~But she really wanted to make a huge impact to help others first and leave her children with a wonderful legacy~~As she did~~But what bothers me the most is that she spent a lot of time with her daughter, a lot of time~~Couldn't she see that her Mom was pushing herself so hard until that dreadful breaking point??..She should have made her slow down because she was very much aware of Naomi's mental health~~When it comes to depression, you should always look for the signs~~Some are always smiling and helping and caring so much about other people~~But what was she doing for herself??...Depression comes in many forms and affects everyone differently~~They must be watched carefully~~With her type of depression she became a great actress in fooling people as well as helping them~~I'm so heartbroken over what happened~~I will always pray for her family and friends~~Eternal Peace Dear Sweet Wonderful Naomi~~You are so very missed~~😪😪😪💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏~~

@@WynonnaJudd-oe6me I am one who connects from the inside to the outside of a person. I have always had a kind of 'knowing' of you, your Mom, Ashley. I love most the music you and your Mom used to gift to us. I am not a fan of rock. I worship Jesus Christ with all my heart and soul. I have always been, and shall always be, my own person. When I commit to friendship I never, ever betray my friend. I stand for the helpless, and condemn abuse. I 'know' dogs are one of God's very greatest gifts to humans. Animals are smarter than humans. I believe God does not exist outside of TRUTH. You, your Mom, your collective journey (with both the bad and the good of it) touched my life as a blessing. I profoundly feel your pain, as I did feel hers. So, dear Wynonna, you tell me, am I a fan of yours?

I don't think she blew her head off as you so uncaring put it. She shot herself in the head. As a nurse she knew exactly how to do it. My cousin was a nurse. She shot herself in the heart. One little spot of blood on a white blouse. So sad that people have to resort to doing this because the pressure of mental illness becomes to much for them to bare.

Maybe .. no. She was abused in every way. Retired when she got ill. Became an advocate. But her book explained her depression was life long. Resilient to any treatment. Professional or chemical. She was in an hell she couldn’t escape … her own mind… no matter what she tried. When she passed, her mannerisms were described as someone in a manic state. Begging for her own family to shoot her. Her husband should have known not to have firearms. Manic individuals are not in control. It’s sad and a bit terrifying but very real. So unless fame can change someone’s brain chemicals I don’t think so.
