WYSK- Fixing Braid Frizz

Welcome back! This will be officially be my second episode of the WYSK (what you should know) series, and todays topic is BRAID FUZZ * eye roll.
Isn't braid fuzz one of the number one contenders to premature removal of some bomb braids? Even when the parts are clean, scalp is nourished, and braids don't hurt, here comes that frizz... soooo annoying.
Well, let me introduce to you my own technique, which I call 'Braid Pruning'. This method allows me to tuck the ends of the natural hair back into the braid WITHOUT having to undo and then redo that braid. This method will save you time, money, and headache, and can be done at home for all you DIY'ers. It is also usable for my fellow stylists to save time, and provide a more thorough touch-up experience.

Oh my goodness. Most of my braids look pretty good. I have about 15 that have this issue. I was going to take them down tomorrow because of those braids that have hair sticking out. Now I can try this and hope they will last another two weeks. I’ve only had them in for 4 1/2 weeks. Thanks so much.

Hello, i love your video!! I just got knotless braids for the first time but my hair is very soft and already frizzing thru the braids, it’s not as long as the example in the video but it’s like fraying out of the braids, what can I do to control that?

Thank you for this tip! Quick aside- did you know the beeping smoke alarm is really hard on the dogs sensitive ears? They experience it like we would a fire truck siren. I just learned that last year.

@@hairbeenatural sooo boom. I went and got my hair braided last week and the stylist left out a lot more of my "edges" than I liked. I used this method to feed my edges back into my braid and im shocked. 😲. I appreciate this tutorial. It really saved me the hassle of from having to redo this one braid.
