I just installed this camera. You said it only shows fisheye view. You have the option on the app to change it to regular view.

Great video, Lon. I have several Wyze devices and am considering the Doorbell Pro, Since my current doorbell is a 2-wired setup with a transformer, would my wired chimes work along with the Wyze chime? Thanks!

I prefer the aspect ratio of their original doorbell. No peephole and fisheye effect with the original. You do only get a vertical oriented format (3:4) with the original, but for a long narrow porch this probably works best for many anyway. And since I hardwire mine, I don't need the battery. And since this too doesn't work with an existing chime, there is no reason to upgrade (in my case downgrade since it will make my video view even worse.)

Life happens and internet get intermittent. If I have no internet, will the basic doorbell bit still work within the home? i.e., will it still ring if someone hits the button?

Thanks for the video Lon. Can you tell me if this Wyze does RSTP? I have another Wyze and I can use my BI with it. I would like to add it to my BI (Blue Iris) setup also.

With the integration with Smart Home Assistance (Primarily Google Assistant) will it activate the camera feed on Google Home or just alert you to door bell ring?

Nice review, very complete. However the only thing attractive is the low price, but the rest is not so. I have Ring 2 and now Eufy doorbell. Comparing the Eufy to the Ring, the Eufy is hands down far superior in it's sensitivity and video quality. Ring often is very slow to pop up on the Iphone even with my 1GB fiber internet and UDM router. The Eufy doorbell is a great additon and NO FEES, and it records better on your Home Base unit as if on the Cloud, but again Free. I also have the Eufy cameras (wi-fi) and they are even better. I get chime alerts and audio thru Alexa. I can't find any videos you've done on the Eufy products...

Why would anyone want to pay a subscription for a doorbell? That's where I draw the line. I just got the new Amcrest AD410, I just need to install it. No subscription, and supports RTSP. Lon you should get one and do a review
