+manzarek74 Hey there! They are all plasma weapons. Remember though that new and harder aliens will spawn every time you upgrade your weapons (bullets --> laser --> plasma) and that's why I always upgrade my tech stuff and armors first and lastly all the weapons. Just a little tip for your playthroughs :)
