@albericosa I am nervous about any kind of remake to this game. Probably because I have seen so many remakes be complete fail that I have very little hope in remakes anymore, even if they are being ran by competent people. Only time will tell.

I've only played the demo, but I rather enjoyed it. I wish the aliens could have been better hidden and the missions offered more of a "terrifying" feeling, but overall, it wasn't bad at all. I wasn't really fond of the controls, however. It feels like teaching a 5-year old how to pilot a 747. Regardless, I will purchase the game when I can afford to.

@macrossjs Check out the Steam forums. There's a thread called "Possibly the best way to install Xcom: Ufo defense". Follow the guide and you'll get an improved X-Com with the Playstation soundtrack.

Well, I can tell you that it doesn't work on Windows XP, so I have to install Windows Vista or better, and I've been busy being a jobless bum to finance another OS. I will let you know what I think when the time comes and I have had a chance to play it. :)
