perfectly said!! I think an important factor of creative expression, is to at least have knowledge of where it comes from, and who the pioneers of it are...I got introduced to Hip Hop culture when I first saw the '83 Grammy performance of Rockit....I became a B Boy first, then fully immersed myself into the whole culture, eventually becoming a DJ....the new generation, from what ive seen in MANY genres, from Hip Hop to House Music, dont know the history, and sadly, dont care too much to learn about the history...theyre far too concerned about their social media tags, following, and branding to stop and learn about what they do and why they do it. That said, outside of the importance of Theodore and D.ST in the video, that was one of the best routines ive ever heard in my life.
