The people who believe Britney can't sing are forgetting she came to popularity in the 90s when artists couldn't cover their voices with autotune or special production. She has always been able to sing, she always will be able to. I just don't think she feels the need to do it anymore, she's changed with pop music. Most artists at least use some kind of special filter on their voice. As for live, I just don't think Britney wants to do it anymore. I saw her on the Femme Fatale tour and she was phenomenal either way.

Britney embodies exactly what this show looks for. Christina is a voice on “the voice” because that’s a singing competition. Britney was a judge on the X factor because she can easily point out who has all qualities of being a super star because she is one herself. she did a good job as a judge and only helped the contestants in the long run
