You can call me if you have any questions. 58 lmpalas are way different than post cars. I prefer the post cars. I have had 15 58s over the years. 3 lmpala parts cars. One CONVERTIBLE. Get a shop manual and the supplement for the frame demshon. U need the supplement because some of the measurements are incorrect in the shop manual. The best thing to do to the frame is to run 2×4 rectangular tubeing on the outside of the center .So you can cut back the bottom to run a one piece drive shaft. Add a plate to go side to side like the 64 cars had. For the wish bone mounts to tie them together. They make a adapter to run a modern stirring box. To. Be nice to what floor u have because the SOB.S don't make a one piece replacement floor for the 58. ☹. Just half assed pach floor plans and braces.

Sadly I found out the hard way that they sell the floor panels in pieces. Could have swore they were hole once lol

The cougar 9" may work if you wide rear tires. I don't mean like pro street.

I’ll be measuring it to remotely see if I want to use it. I plan to put on standard 15” all terrain, those type of tires for both highway and dirt use. Think they’re called Coopers or something like that.
