Love how they’re doing one bail per run now. Makes it a little more fun, everyone’s level of riding is insane too.

Perhaps the judges really observed street riding style not park-like style thus the result.
@PlaySA3 жыл бұрын
I think that must be it, only explanation why Matt Ray was so low. Busted some huge moves but they were kind more park style moves. Still kinda lame imo him and Kerley should've been higher

Garrett was clean as usual. Wanted to check the runs to see whether he truly deserved 1st place because he always win xgames, we could start to think it is rigged after all this time lol, but yeah he deserved it he had bangers and was smooth. He is still king

Thanks for doing a better job than the ESPN/Wendy’s filters. Also WORST COURSE EVER. I actually miss the old X-Games Gator Gap! Because Some of the riders tires were seriously like 2 inches off the ground when doing crank arm grinds 🤷♂️ I guess that’s why it’s not the extreme games anymore LOL well that changed decades ago now I guess. But since I’m stuck at home injured I watched everything and it was just trash when I came to the official content but Our Bmx imo Covered the event better than Wendy’s or ESPN or whoever was in charge of this who wasn’t Mat Hoffman as They definitely had skate vert, I’m sure they could’ve fixed up burnquists mega for big air But the street course was just where can I get this is what most plaza parks are which is why most plazas are trash. But whatever I just think it would’ve been cool with the built a course that Wasn’t pre-existing and was as interesting as some of their early street events with semi natural looking transition obstacles and other cool stuff this was just… blah except watching Garrett destroy in this setting.

I find these competitions more boring each year... Of course, the technical level is getting crazy, however all of them ride a VERY similar style and set of tricks. This sport used to be special because each rider read and rode the park in their own way, there was the 'huge transfers guy', the 'rail master', the one who did park tricks on street, etc. It's obviously impressive but, where is the choice and originality that made this sport so special?

Why is the x games so low budget this year? They usually build their own set up. Ramps. Bowles skatepark etc. Why did they opt to use existing places this year? Because of covid? Because of budget? Or because they didn't have Matt Hoffman planning shit this year? And why did they not bring him on like all the years b4? Just gotta say the 1st year with out the condor and it's pretty Fucking lame. Looks like any other contest. That's what I enjoyed about the x games was that they would build their own shit. And it would be amazing. Like someone's dream to ride. Hell anyone canride this set up.
